When their Hive ships are destroyed, the escorting cruisers typically abandon the battlefield by escaping into hyperspace. Beyond this role, they are also seen in the role of patrol ships that are sent to investigate disturbances near Wraith territory. They are also sent alone against Human worlds in order to cull its inhabitants that are incapable of mounting a defense against the vessel. Similar to other Wraith vessels, they apparently do not possess shields and instead rely on their organic hull to protect them from damage.

I do belive these could stand up to a Ha'tak.
Man I'd love to see a Stargate series where the Wraith invade the milkyway and duke it out with the Lucian Alliance!

Those are always my favorite episodes! Where you have two bad guys fighting each other, I especially liked it when the good guys initiate the two bad guys to fight each other😎👍

Absolutely! That is a perfect example! My favorite comes not from Stargate but Star Trek Deep Space Nine, when Sisko tricked the romulans into joining their side against the Dominion.

@@StargateOmega that was the slyest form of politics in galactic history.
Have'nt seen the serirs, but I watched an analysis video of the whole dominion war, really good stuff.
But my favorite example is in Serenity(Firefly) when Malcom and his crew, knowing a massive Alliance fleet is in orbit of mr. Universe's planet, makes the riskyest gamble in history.
Pissing in the coffe of the Reavers, in the middle of their fleet no less.
Love the Agent's face when he sees what comes out of the ion clouds.
Hells gates hath opened upon thee.

Yeah that was the best! Firefly serenity: that maneuver was awesome! And devastating to two different fleets, caused by one ship. That was fantastic!

Frighteningly dangerous ship. Damage it and it heals itself. My opinion has been made clear in the past. I think the Organic nature of these ships, along with the nearly immortal Wraith people make their designs quite possibly more advanced than anything the Ancient's built or were capable of. Wraith did their own engineering and were portrayed as brilliant engineers. Good thing they were not terribly hard to blow to pieces. Having said that, I would not mind owning at least one Dart, just for quick flights around our Solar system.

More Advanced? No ur nuts... Wraith ships are extremely durable and I like the Wraith themselves. But, they can't touch the Ancients level.
Ancient Technology was rivaled by none. The Asgard couldn't even rival them.
