  • One of the world’s most translated poets has gems hidden in his works that continue to inspire people around the world a century later.
    Lebanese poet and artist Kahlil Gibran was celebrated at the United Nations on the 100th anniversary of his most famous work, “The Prophet,” coinciding with the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
    Both contain powerful clarion calls for respect for the human rights, dignity and equality of all people.
