i have a small issue with the extra strings, as i make it the strings below they all tie together aswell? and i constantly need to untangle them; them actually knotting though isnt the problem

Hi! I sell bracelets like this on etsy along with a bunch of crochet items so I have tons of yarn lying around. You can make bracelets like these with yarn and they'll still look good, but they turn out much bigger and bulkier. Some buyers prefer those ones but I've always enjoyed the traditional embroidery thread bracelets myself. :)
the circle shape in the beginning is from getting longer strings (like wingspan length) and folding them in half before tying a knot, leaving space to form the loop. this way you do less cuts and can double up on string colors. the button fasten is just doing a square knot/double knot of 2 different strings through 2 holes and cutting off the excess string.
You can tie a button, make a loop, ow you wanna make a loop you don’t need seven strings, just take six long strings and fold them in half so u have six and add one more. Or search adjustable bracelet
