    The same thing happens to my edges when I wrap it wet or dry that’s why I just quit wrapping it. A lot of these “protective” black hair routines are actually very very damaging to our hair

    This is perfect. I always notice my edges starting to thin on the side of my hair that I have to wrap upwards, so I’m not a huge fan of the traditional wrap. Thank you for sharing your technique.

    I use to do it that way too when I didn’t feel like doing the traditional way of wrapping. My beautician told me about this way 5-6 years ago.

    When I tell you that I appreciate you so much for this video...... Huntie let me tell you lol! I've been natural for 3 yrs and have recently had my hair pressed. Well my stylist told me to wrap it up but my hair wants to do its own thing and I end up using 10 Bobby pins to keep it in place lol. (dnt judge me) this is way better and faster! Thanks again hun!

    Hi Tyiece. I looked real carefully at how you did this because I want to learn how to do it. But I think my hair is too long and I have trouble having my hair tied up. I need to learn to deal with it better. :)

    • @Tyiece
      @Tyiece  6 років тому

      yes your hair is way too long. Since your hair is wavy, you can just do one bantu knot and pin it. Then let it down in the morning

    • @MaxItUpwithMarta
      @MaxItUpwithMarta 6 років тому

      I kind of do that, I actually do a very loose knot on the very top of my hair, I use my hair to make the knot. I'm like you can't stand anything tight on my head.

    • @Tyiece
      @Tyiece  7 років тому

      +Sapphire no prints because the bobby pin is on the hair that would be my nape and under the hair lying flat if you understand, so when I comb it down, those strands are hidden, so I don't see any visible dents

      Lisa Whigham green tea. on wash days after you shampoo your hair put room temperatured green tea (after brewing the tea, let it sit, you can do this HOURS before you wash your hair) on your hair then apply your deep conditioner or conditioner let it sit as long as you can (preferably half hour) then rinse out. your hair wont completely stop shedding but you will notice less shedding. hoped this help:)
