The same thing happens to my edges when I wrap it wet or dry that’s why I just quit wrapping it. A lot of these “protective” black hair routines are actually very very damaging to our hair
This is perfect. I always notice my edges starting to thin on the side of my hair that I have to wrap upwards, so I’m not a huge fan of the traditional wrap. Thank you for sharing your technique.
Thank u. Helped a lot. I have really long hair and just not good at wrapping, after spending hours flat ironing my naturally curly hair, I did not want to mess it up. You are a hair whisperer. Much love ❤️
I feel you on the wrapping. I have odd hair and I’ve noticed my hairline and hair breakage from wrapping. Thank you for sharing an alternate way!!👏🏾🌹 love your technique Take care & be well. Again many thanks!
When I tell you that I appreciate you so much for this video...... Huntie let me tell you lol! I've been natural for 3 yrs and have recently had my hair pressed. Well my stylist told me to wrap it up but my hair wants to do its own thing and I end up using 10 Bobby pins to keep it in place lol. (dnt judge me) this is way better and faster! Thanks again hun!
just relaxed my hair today and since it's longer i keep failing at wrapping so I tried your method. Hopefully it turns out okay tomorrow. fingers crossed!
Thank you so much, I wear my hair in a short Bob and have noticed thining on one side. I have started with the castor oil so I will add this too as I don’t want to straighten my hair everyday just twice a month. Thank you ❤
i'm in love with your hair and great videos thanks for the tips. look forward to see me commenting on every video cause i'm here to stay. love you tyiece
I enjoyed the video! I also don't prefer to wrap my hair like that. (Never could get the hang of it anyway, lol )! The cross wrap seems much more doable for me also.
New Subscriber here!!. I've seen you comment on a lot of ppl I follow on UA-cam and I noticed you had a channel! Awesome technique. I need to try this. my edges hurt on 1 side also from wrapping.
Hi Tyiece. I looked real carefully at how you did this because I want to learn how to do it. But I think my hair is too long and I have trouble having my hair tied up. I need to learn to deal with it better. :)
I kind of do that, I actually do a very loose knot on the very top of my hair, I use my hair to make the knot. I'm like you can't stand anything tight on my head.
Tyiece I'm back to let you know I am wearing your hair "style" right now and it is falling apart. hahaha. I tried girl, I really did. One problem is I have no idea where my night cap is. You know what? I think we need to do a collab of you doing my hair!!!
Great Ideal, .....so you don't get any prints in your hair from Bobbi pins? I Don't put any products in my hair either, after a fresh relaxer, I like for it to be movable and free lol😃 Thank you so much💞
+Sapphire no prints because the bobby pin is on the hair that would be my nape and under the hair lying flat if you understand, so when I comb it down, those strands are hidden, so I don't see any visible dents
Lisa Whigham green tea. on wash days after you shampoo your hair put room temperatured green tea (after brewing the tea, let it sit, you can do this HOURS before you wash your hair) on your hair then apply your deep conditioner or conditioner let it sit as long as you can (preferably half hour) then rinse out. your hair wont completely stop shedding but you will notice less shedding. hoped this help:)
Thank u cuz I can’t wrap for SHOT
Ur hair looks super soft, moisturized, and shiny
The same thing happens to my edges when I wrap it wet or dry that’s why I just quit wrapping it. A lot of these “protective” black hair routines are actually very very damaging to our hair
I'm so grateful for finding this page. I can wrap and was wondering why my edges were sore.
This is perfect. I always notice my edges starting to thin on the side of my hair that I have to wrap upwards, so I’m not a huge fan of the traditional wrap. Thank you for sharing your technique.
you're welcome
Going back to a heat natural and THIS TIP is a life saver for my silk presses
Thank u. Helped a lot. I have really long hair and just not good at wrapping, after spending hours flat ironing my naturally curly hair, I did not want to mess it up. You are a hair whisperer. Much love ❤️
so happy it helped
Thank you! This continues to be my favorite way to sleep on straightened hair, it's really the only way that works for me!
I use to do it that way too when I didn’t feel like doing the traditional way of wrapping. My beautician told me about this way 5-6 years ago.
I feel you on the wrapping. I have odd hair and I’ve noticed my hairline and hair breakage from wrapping.
Thank you for sharing an alternate way!!👏🏾🌹 love your technique
Take care & be well. Again many thanks!
Thank you so much! My temples always hurt with wrapping and I worry about hair loss. Thank your for a different option.
The best vid on this matter...ever. Truly, I am grateful and I highly appreciate you.
Thank you so much

Thank you for posting this! I've been wrapping my hair for years, but recently it's been hurting my edges. I'm gonna start this method tonight!
Angellica Jimenez same.

just relaxed my hair today and since it's longer i keep failing at wrapping so I tried your method. Hopefully it turns out okay tomorrow. fingers crossed!
Did it turn out good?
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!! I did everything you did and it turned out PERFECT!❤ So much easier than the old method of wrapping hair.
You’re welcome Shamel. I’m so happy it worked out for you.
Thank you so much, I wear my hair in a short Bob and have noticed thining on one side. I have started with the castor oil so I will add this too as I don’t want to straighten my hair everyday just twice a month. Thank you ❤
Your hair looks really good. Kudos on maintaining the hair and teaching others how to do the same. This is very encouraging. God Bless!! 🙏🏽
Thank you

That’s amazing. Thank you
4 years later and this video is still a life saver: you’re a genius sis!

Thank you for the idea! I'll try this. I hope my hair turns out straight
Girl I try wrapping my hair and I can't so you just made it easier for me

Thank you for this helpful video. I'm absolutely awful at wrapping my hair the traditional way.
You're welcome 😊
I enjoyed the video! I also don't prefer to wrap my hair like that. (Never could get the hang of it anyway, lol )! The cross wrap seems much more doable for me also.
yeah, thanks for watching
Thanks sis because this I can do. 😘😘
You are beautiful, thank you for this simple idea!
Thanks sis. Life saving tips
Thanks. Can show a video of you taking it down the next day? I always end up with a crease :(
+pinkpolish This video my hair was taken down that morning. I get a very slight crease but it goes away after 30 mins when I have it down
Great info.
Thank you.
I never seen this Technique before.
This was so helpful!
Trying this tonight! I’m natural just had my silk press

New Subscriber here!!. I've seen you comment on a lot of ppl I follow on UA-cam and I noticed you had a channel! Awesome technique. I need to try this. my edges hurt on 1 side also from wrapping.
Aww thanks and welcome. Yes I love watching hair videos lol, I'm such a junkie
I have long hair so the top end is always poking me in the eye. I do like this method better than the others cuz this is simple and easy
This is so helpful , but can you use a bonnet or only a silk scarf
yes you can use a bonnet. Check out my Humble Glow bonnets here- www.humbleglow.com
Great video! I think I've tried this method a few times some years ago. Might try this again! 😊
I will definitely try this
idcant find one does it work without the satin scarf
Love this new technique
I like your method the best.
Mind is blownnnn
bobby pins don't dent?
You are so so so beautiful & your hair is so gorgeous !!😻😻
Thank you 😘
Going to try that. Thanks
where can i purchase that wrapping scarf i’ve been looking all over for the name
They have them everywhere at Walmart, target, almost all beauty supply stores
@@Tyiece hey thank you for replying i found it online i been searching loll
This is simple and helpful
Loving your videos. do you ever spiral/perm rod your hair?
+trr Johnson no still haven't gotten the hang of it. I want to learn so bad because the curls are so cute
I need something for bob length
Looks great, thank you.
What kind of head scarf is this and do you know how long it is? Thanks! :)
Sorry I had it so long. I don't remember the brand or size
@@Tyiece i just lost one just like it trying to find out also
Elisheba Hilana Yahiseral it is Stay On Satin Wrapping Scarf Style No 1170BLA I believe
Hi Tyiece. I looked real carefully at how you did this because I want to learn how to do it. But I think my hair is too long and I have trouble having my hair tied up. I need to learn to deal with it better. :)
yes your hair is way too long. Since your hair is wavy, you can just do one bantu knot and pin it. Then let it down in the morning
I kind of do that, I actually do a very loose knot on the very top of my hair, I use my hair to make the knot. I'm like you can't stand anything tight on my head.
yes thats what I meant
Tyiece I'm back to let you know I am wearing your hair "style" right now and it is falling apart. hahaha. I tried girl, I really did. One problem is I have no idea where my night cap is. You know what? I think we need to do a collab of you doing my hair!!!
lol I warned you that your hair is way too long for a cross wrap. omg, your hair would give my arms a major work out lol
ok thank you
Awww, how do you make it stay on if your a person who it comes off
Use the rougher side on your hair
could you do a video on how to get rid of trashy ends
Aww thanks Neeks, love you too. Here's a video on how I do it ua-cam.com/video/dsWcDmvfeFM/v-deo.html
does that bobble type hair tie work? i never used it before but it says it doesn't leave a dent
+lana I've never heard of that
it's called invisibobble
oh I never used that
Wdym when you wear your hair straight?
Fairy Law when she has straight hair... it’s pretty straight forward lol
I'm trying this in 2023 thank you.
So cool!! You’re welcome 😉
Tyiece Oh,.....I see,... I may try this one day , Thank you 😊
great tips thanks for sharing!
what produce is good for hair that is sherding
+Lisa Whigham oh I dont know, never had shedding problems
Lisa Whigham green tea. on wash days after you shampoo your hair put room temperatured green tea (after brewing the tea, let it sit, you can do this HOURS before you wash your hair) on your hair then apply your deep conditioner or conditioner let it sit as long as you can (preferably half hour) then rinse out. your hair wont completely stop shedding but you will notice less shedding. hoped this help:)
I'm so going to try this method tonight when I wrap my hair. Tfs.
tfw
Very helpful. will try it.
ok hope it works out
hi whst kind of produce is good for shering
+Lisa Whigham what is shering?
How did this affect your hair the next day?
Thank you
This is exactly how I wrap hair
That is a good idea.
can one airdry d wet wrap??
+kate amankwaa no, it will never dry unless you only have 1-2 inches of hair
Hahaha, ohk
what if you dont have a satin scarf
You need satin or silk. A cotton scarf will only make your hair frizzy the next day
That's a good method.
Thanks
That's cute!!! ❤❤
Which way do you prefer wrapping your hair?
Very cool vid✨👍✨
You are sooo beautiful!!
I have 14 inch hair this is literally the only method that has ever worked …
nice
Jesus loves you ❤️
Cute
hair goals right here 😍😍
+Deja Vu thanks
Thank you
