This album and performance is nothing more than raw feelings they were feeling. That's exactly what we got and it was totally AWESOME. But I hate they had to go through that.....
John MacVie gets no face time on this video. He fills the role for FM as Entwhistle does for The Who, the solid, indispensable cog in the machinery who graciously and unselfishly allows the other members their moments in the spotlight.
Both of them don't want the front...Entwistle does(had) a solo band...not sure he's ever made money on tour ....he's a great bass player, maybe the best, but he ain't driving The Who, Moon did, but it's still Roger and Pete I no little to nothing about the founders of Fleetwood Mac, does anyone know who plays drums? I mean Stevie and Lyndsay get the attention---that's y people go see FM I think.
I was there...it was incredible! Christine looks great Finally! a great mix! I was there...it was incredible! Christine looks great Christine rocking that piano!!
For when there was tension in the band, this video was the epitome of such times. They'd do the one more album before Lindsey would leave, then Stevie would leave, then both get back together, then Chris would leave, not come back in time to do a final FMac album, unless you count the '97 live album, her last contribution as a full time composer was 1995's Time album. Then Lindsey leaves, he comes back, Stevie leaves a second time, Christine returns but does a duet album with Lindsey, and now as there is a potential of returning Lindsey rumors sparks up, Christine dies and, if there was any dignity left in the band, they would call it a day and let it rest in respect to Christine. I guess hoping for a Lindsey/Stevie follow up album is out of the question.
They had A LOT of technical difficulties on this concert, you can notice if you watch the other videos. They were all pissed and trying to do their best.
Yes, was just going to comment on that. Not too many live versions of this out there and this one is great. Christine was killing it on this. I wish she could play like that in current day.
Christine Anne Perfekt McVie 💕💕🙏🙏❤️❤️ Love all your beautiful Muzik ! Christine I Wish You All The Love In The World Ah But Most Of All I Wish It From Myself ( Beautiful Sweet Songbird ❤️❤️) 💐🏵️🌼🌸🌺💛❤️💙💚🇺🇸🇩🇪🙏🙏💕💕 Christine you will live forever in my heart & my home 💕🙏 I love you like never before beautiful sweet Songbird ❤️❤️🙏🙏
Is it just me or does anyone else think Christine McVie is left handed? I’ve seen many other videos of Fleetwood Mac playing “Don’t Stop”, and she always seems to play with a left handed bias.
Honestly I'm not a troll, I love this song, but this performance feels cold. We all know the personal dynamics going on at the time, and I can really feel it here. I love them, but they're going through the motions here. They're not together.
I can't believe they put up any of the songs from the US Festival. This was definitely not their best work. Stevie was a bloody train wreck, and Lindsey should have just called it in.
i dont get it. Okay, it was 1982: the bandmembers were partly on drugs, they dont like each other so well...all good. But the sound is so groovy. It's only a boogie - you don't have to be a musician genius to play it cause it works for itself....the only thing u need is feeling. The entire band f....s it up. The studioversion catch me every single time, but this live version? Awfull.
The anger between those two is palpable.
Stevie was getting SUCH a free ride.
my left ear feels rejected.
Christine rocking that piano!!
Don't stop thinking about the right channel

@@kevinhanney1979 FM started out as a solid blues band. The name is a derivative of drummer Mick Fleetwood and bassist John MacVie's surnames.
im addicted to Fleetwood Mac

They had A LOT of technical difficulties on this concert, you can notice if you watch the other videos. They were all pissed and trying to do their best.
Well it was 1982 and maybe the technicians were doing more blow than the band?

She is left handed. I’ve seen video of her signing autographs.
Also, when she plays the tambourine, she holds it in her left hand. So I say yes.
The coke was keeping everybody, mostly, thin.

audio is right track only. just like all the other posts of this show. disappointing

スティービー以外のパフォーマンスが素晴らしい👍80年代以降の彼女は傲岸不遜なところが目立つようになったのはドラッグの影響なのかな?

Don’t do Coke kids
they all look bored and disinterested. No joy on stage! Going through the motions.....
Meat loaf on Drums

Must've been a pain being the only non-muso in the group.
Bad coke maybe. She sings likeca train wreck

Stevie is way off here, she must be dosed up. They even turned her mike down because she is way off track.
