Its amazing to see how far the hobby has come. Modern Day Lionel Legacy engines details and add on extras just blow these trains out of the water so to speak. The other side of the coin here is what joe has is very simplistic and easy to run. Great video! I watched the whole thing!
When was this video taken? The resolution is so poor (even tho it says 1080P). It appears to have been taken at least 15 - 20 years ago. Or at least was shot using a camera that is 20 years old or more. Too bad.
This video was shot in the late 90s in Standard Definition (SD) video because there was no HD then. It was shot with broadcast quality equipment using an Ikegami HL79-EAL camera on Betacam SP tape and edited to a 1-inch edit master on a CMX 3400 editing system. Sorry you could not enjoy it.

I think that beats Stan Roy's record
Yep.
Absolutely Amazing!!!
I remember seeing this on RFDTV in the early 2000’s, it really is a phenomenal layout!!!! I wonder if it’s still around all these years later?
Apparently it was dismantled when the couple moved to Georgia.
Nice!
WOW!
This video is from over 20 years ago, before the Legacy boom. From what I understand, Joe and Doreen dismantled the layout and moved to Georgia.
@@Nyislander313 Yes, this video was produced a long time ago.
SHOEEE...DOGGY!
Please slow those trains down. Scale speed is 300 mph
