We've driven all the way from Cornwall, the UK, to above the arctic circle in Norway in our trusty old ford transit van! We've been heading towards a wedding in Estonia and we've made it to the capital!

Who are we? 💁🏼♀️
We're Tom and Iz, who live and travel in our van La Bamba. We love nature and are currently traveling in Finland!
You might find Tom in the forest IDing a mushroom, fixing something or starting an ambitious project with his laid-back relaxed approach whereas you could find Isabel cooking up a storm, sunning herself on a beach and being a busy, energetic bee with her endless enthusiasm and positivity! We are total opposites but it works!
How did we end up here?! 😁 ⏮
We met 10 years ago when we were both finishing our A-levels and had a whirlwind summer romance, hitch-hiking around France together before before going our separate ways to travel and to university. We've both always prioritised travel and adventure and have worked hard over the years in hospitality jobs to enable us to keep exploring.
Tom hitch-hiked across Europe and road tripped around Australia whilst Iz studied Environmental Science at York. Iz backpacked around South America with her sister whilst Tom studied Forestry at Aberdeen University. Little did we know we just weren't going to get each other out of our minds! Fast forward 4 years later, we found ourselves in campsite warden jobs, living in a bell tent in a wild flower meadow together! Maybe without realising this was the start of our van life journey!
Next, we both trained to be science teachers and during training, we bought a van, ripped out it's interior and converted it to live in it. Iz managed to get a remote work-from-home job that she could do from the van and Tom was passionate about starting up a UA-cam channel.
Since then we haven't looked back and when the pandemic allowed us to, we travelled to Spain, Portugal, Scotland, Ireland, Wales and around Cornwall. We are now on a big European road trip! We are giving it our best shot to do UA-cam full time. We have a dream of one day owning a little plot of land and building ourselves a cabin in the woods. Our message on our channel is to inspire others to do what they love as life is too short! We love living simply, freely with less stuff but more time!

I was in Tallinn harbour for several hours on friday before a ship took us back to Finland, our home country. That was after about three week motorhome trip around the Baltic Sea. We hada seven countries and about 4000 km behind. This time we didn't go to the Tallinn city at all because we have been there so many times. The same was with Stockholm on 9th June. We just passed it by road E20 :)
BTW, several years ago my friends' band made a music video on top of that Linnahall that is visible from 0:45

LOL, i went to the same pub (Beer house, when i spent a week in Tallin. I circled for a while in the old town on my first night, looking for a place that vibes with me, and this was it. So then it became my usual go to place every evening, and i drank through the beer list, (i think they got 7 different drafts back then), and when i finished, i just started to pick my fave. it was the honey beer! How talented am i to bump into this place, not even knowing it had excellent reviews and recommended as a top beer spot, as you mention:) I loved Tallinn btw, absolute gem!

Thank you SO MUCH for an incredible journey. I’m starting my first autocamper trip next week, where me and my family are driving to…. Lofoten 👍🇳🇴 But I have a question regardring drone photography since I have just bought a DJI Mini 3 Pro: how do you know where you are allowed to fly and not? Do you use an app? I know there are many places in Lofoten that it’s not allowed eg. in the national park, and it surprises me that you can fly over the old town of Tallin!

Frequency in future depends on how you intend to travel, which may be slower than recently. IMO a good format could be to aim for a "Guide to country X" from a vanlifers perspective, including tips for vanlifers on how the country or region differs from others eg prices of van things, services, legality of wild camping, best parkups you've been to etc. A vanlife version of Rick Steves' videos. More GPS coordinates of places you've been to, including parkups, please! Maybe even a video guide to best parkups, sort of a video version of best spots on P4N, with GPS coordinates.
Went to tallinn last week and literally the old town is almost identical to Riga, Latvia (the city i live in), if you ever decide to come here, i can show you around :)

The music is all from epidemic sounds. The music at the start is certainly African, I don’t think it is Toumani, but I’m a fan, I also love Ali Farka Touré.

Another cracking episode and I will be sad to see this awesome series come to a close tomorrow. That vegan restaurant looks right up our street so we hope to get there someday. Actually, I wish we had a restaurant like that in our street! BTW, my wife and I are in Edinburgh at the moment and have been to our favourite vegan restaurant 'Novapizza' again as it is our goto restaurant in Edinburgh. Recommended 👍
€70 for 3 courses for 2 seems good value. I am not vegetarian but the food looked great. You live once guys so go for it! Have no regrets as life is too bloody short.

You’ve committed the usual error in pronouncing the town name, as many English do! Viljandi is pronounced “Vili-andi”, the Estonian pronouncing their letter J like an I.
My wife lived there for a while and I enjoyed my visit to there with her.

Weird obsession with the Orthodox church. It's not particularly historical and Estonians hate it as a symbol of Russian imperialism.
I pay to UA-cam for not having advertising then it gets rude and spend my time on the green shit, so if you do not stop I will stop.
Its easy to skip over it. They usually get money for promoting the stuff, and its not free to make videos.
