Yeah but being nearly 900 years older than somebody is clearly bs and whatever if the person still takes the form of a young person and thinks/feels like one, but Goblin lived his entire life up to being middle aged when he died and they decided to write the script as a love story between a barely legal highschooler and somebody old enough to be her father?? Be so serious lmao, if they did it like My Demon it woulda been fine but the way the writers specifically chose that route is what makes it weird but whatever Im aroace so maybe this is just something yall are fine with that I dont understand. 💀💀
@@liagamer4265 well I've my own theories to be okay with the script. Because if we look at the drama, goblin didn't hit up on her and wasn't hopelessly in love with her from the start. He did actually acted like an elder and like a guardian for half of the time in the drama. There were scenes where goblin pushed eun tak away and was really rude to her. There was a scene where he was like I've lived for hundreds of years and met many women, what I'm looking for isn't beauty or anything, i just need one thing that my bride is supposed to have (bro just wanted to die).It was eun tak who approached him all the time and even said saranghae(it was a very light hearted and childish one, we get it) on the second episode. Like she lived her whole life being told by the ghosts that her fate is to be the bride of goblin, when she finally saw that the ghosts were right and a goblin did show up, she choose to accept her fate thinking this was her best interest and a way to leave her miserable life behind. Goblin kept on pushing her away because he didnt want her to be attached to him or think of him as her husband when he'll be gone anyways... In the middle of the drama, when they kissed for the first time, it was eun tak who was eager for it meanwhile goblin hesitated and acted like some old grandpa who would'nt let his grand daughter out after midnight to go drink in new years eve. When eun tak was 19/20 years old, their story was just pure and being together with each other. Later on when goblin returned and she was like 28 years old, that's when they showed the some burning romance. Though most of us weren't very happy with the ending, that part was totally unnecessary and she didn't had to come back as a teenager after years😆 but i guess we all have a soft spot for this as this was one of the finest drama of 2016 and one of a kind for this kind of genre
The reason why I can't fully love Goblin is because of their romance starting when she was still a minor. And yet, I always end up giggling at this scene 5:32 😭
