Damn the lore for Cawl is actually good, considering that I never thought to care about him or primaris lore.
Also he definitely followed Roboutte's command and definitely isn't using traitor legion Geneseed for his Primaris Marines. And the Sons of the Phoenix are totally an Imperial Fists Successor Chapter. Wink wink, nudge nudge.

How did the Emperor travel to Mars.. by webway ofcourse since we know there is a portal behind his throne and there is one to the moon its not out of the possibility there is one to Mars.
As for him breathing... well the emperor is one of the most powerful Psyker to ever have been born.
Him creating a bobble of oxygen around him as soon as he stepped on Martian soil isn´t out of the picture.
As for the prison, either the Emperor built it or it was already there and the Emperor just repaired it to the best of his ability and used it to house the void dragon.
Would be quite ominous if it was implied that even the strongest of Necron prisons isn´t 100% safe and a C´tan shard can escape.
Would be interesting to see an apocalyptic event where all the prisons holding the shards of one C´tan failed and the C´tan got lose.
I think if that happened even the Silent King would break his silent and mobilize EVERY necron still functioning in order to take down that C´tan.

@@robertr.7995 I was confused by the vid when he got to that part. I remember that the Big E denied being the Omnissiah, but him repairing the thingy made them convinced he was, so he just rolled with it to avoid conflict. In the vid he says it very different.

My take on the Machine Spirit is that it's not exactly a self-aware AI but rather a ludiscrously sophisticated automation mechanism

Best faction to join if you had to pick one. As a tech-priest, anyway. You don’t even have to use augmetics if you prefer to perfect your body or do both in whatever way you want. Except the blood replacement that is part of your initiation into the priesthood with the benefit if increasing your lifespan by several centuries and generally doing everything better than blood including near immunity to illness and infection.

i love cawl for the sole reason of giving a tiny chance to see a loyalist death guard existing in the future.
Fun fact: In classical Rome had the same basic idea of "Old stuff is always better & it is horrible to introduce new things." Which really makes sense when you learn of the way Romans treated their ancestors, with them basically being deities for the family they are from. Well, in order to introduce new ideas and inventions without the stigma of them being new, people would blatantly lie and say things like they were long lost ideas or some other bullshit claiming it was old stuff just being reintroduced.
I have always wondered why I never hear about the Mechanicus doing this. The only answer I have come up with is that they do this all the time with "found" STCs and the lore is deliberately inaccurate by never saying that they are in fact innovation not reintroduction.
But to state the obvious, there is so goddamned much 40k lore out there, that I have only seen/read/heard/whatever a small amount of it, so if anyone can give me some specific examples of people in the Imperium, or more specifically in the Mechanicus lying through their teeth in this manner, I would love to hear about it.

The Adeptus Mechanicus way of tech support is essentially how programmers troubleshoot when there’s no other options. Just replace candles, toasters, and holy oil with rubber ducks, documentation, and varied stimulants (anything from tea & coffee to cocaine and meth)

Cawl is honestly in my top 5 favorite 40k characters,along with Fabius bile. So who do u guys think is smarter between the two? I said cawl but my friend says Fabius and points out that he has less resources and backing than cawl but manages to make just as much.

In Fabius Bile latest book its comfirmed that the Fabius Bile in 30k in effectively dead and the Fabius Bile we see in the Fabius Bile books are clones, Yes CLONES like alot of clones just running around doing Fabius Bile things.
And Cawl on the other hand took tech path where he make digital copies of himself and these AI of himself are also doing Cawl things and some has their own agendas like the Cawl Inferior that want to be the Fabricator General of Mars.
Ya I read most of that really cool, I finished “cawl& the great works” recently & am about half way through Fabius Bile primogeniture. I love 40 K and I have a small library of books but between my job,other hobbies, and the fact that I was more of a manga than novel reader before getting in 40K it’s been a slow go. So far I’ve only finished cawl,watchers of the throne,lords of silence,&lucius the faultless blade

Hoping with their new book that is due out though, that they might make it a little cheaper to do. Commenting before even watching a single second of this video just to say that those thumbnail previews will haunt my mind forever.
Just a minor correction. The emperor actually faced the dragon on mars not on Earth and he found him in his prison that the necrons had built. He fought the dragon in its weakened state and then re-sealed it in its prison. The ad-mech don't actually worship the dragon but instead worship its prison, without realizing that the dragon lies within and is the source of power that they mistakenly associate with the prison itself.
That Toaster Counter gives me life.
