Great episode guys as always. And is only us men that find noisy frogs funny 😂😂. Gav definitely c3po and Jimmy Yoda me thinks. And for next time guys, Hot Wheels or Matchbox
That was a stubborn little stud. The dash pannel always rotes out in them. We all forget we are human lol.Tea & Cake every stops for tea and cake. Trying to find a Cav starter for a P3 Perkins Ferguson. Myself for my brother. His old one just hits flywheel. Weak spring's in solinoid so am told. Another great episode mate's.👍
Getting there lads! Currently refurbishing my own 53 tef and the condition of yours has definitely made me appreciate how well preserved and easy to work on mine has been 😂
Another great episode lads ... the auld trekter (as it’s pronounced in it original Co Down homeland) is coming together well. Has put me in the mood to get rebuilding my old 997 Mini Cooper engine ... been sitting in boxes for years.
I glad to see you have so much fun working on this old beast. I'd be pulling out what little hair I have left with all the complications you've had to deal with. :D
Can't wait for the next episode, Good work guys and picking up some tips to help me get my old (only 17 years old but Italian so lots of rusty bolts) motorbike up and running.
What are you two on? its definitely not cake something like moonshine I feel, great show as always very worried about the amount of Ads appearing. Game on i suppose.
HI glad to find these videos as I have just started on my bramble find tef20 1952 is helping me a lot , I thought mine was bad but but not as bad as yours (I hope) by the way have you seen a chap call Lance on Bundy Bears Shed he's an Aussie has lots of videos , one on how to overhaul a tef injector pump . keep up the good work
I totally get keeping the "Patina" , it'll look great. But aren't you concerned that after a year or so it will just carry on rotting and end up where you started eventually? We thoroughly cleaned and painted ours, but after 10 years of sitting in a barn the rust starts to show on the edges again. Just a thought.
I have a friend who sells good stuff on Ebay here's the link. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Grey-Ferguson-Tractor-TE20-TEA20-TED20-TEF20-Smiths-AC-Type-Oil-Pressure-Gauge/274460806567?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2648
I think this seem to be very much down to personal choice. For me, I'm not keen on it, and if using a gasket with reasonable mating surfaces I will avoid using it. If on the other hand it is specifically called for, there are bare mating surfaces or where dissimilar metal corrosion is an issue, then yes I'd use some.
Great episode again Jimmy & Gav. Did you guys do a video on fixing the butterfly valve in the inlet manifold? I can't remember from the earlier episodes. Cheers Ryan.
Thanks Ryan, I don’t believe the valve is on video, it needed lots of heat and penetrating fluid, the spring was replaced and friction material replaced with cork sheet cut to fit.
Hi looks like I've got to have my new liners turned down like yours , does Gav do commission work ? also I have a India back tyre you can have its old but has good tread . if you want it I'm in Essex I would send you a picture if I can work out how to do it on youtube . look after yourselfs ,
@@Torquestamiya Hi I seem to be having trouble replying , so yo may have this reply more than once, I sent an email to a Gavin Jackson near Ely ,hope thats him . By they way do you know if the chap you got the crank bearing from has a conrod for a tef as I am still looking for one , regards Ian
Double entendres, blow offs and lovely people fixing rusty machinery - this is the best thing on the Internet. Thanks for making me smile :)
Our absolute pleasure Stefan. I could say the same about your drawings!

You are on!
Can’t beat a noisy frog for comedy value
Great channel. Make sure to get the rubber gaitor for the bottom of the gearstick to prevent it filling up with water!
Did they have one originally?
Good shout👍
yes they have a coller round them.
Gav flexing bending bar 👍😂
So strong!
It was thicker than it looked😂

Gav. That hacksaw blade and vice look to be a similar age!
Getting our moneys worth😀

What!!! This can't be true??? Could it.... We're glad you're enjoying it.
🤣
Great update, and your innuendo game is on point 😂
Lovely job on the patch repair 👍
Thanks very much
Innuendo... what innuendo... must be your potty mind!
Change the gearlever, no bell shaped shroud on it to deflect water above ball and socket to stop gearbox filling with rainwater
Good point, maybe put a rubber boot on for now?
Looking great cant wait 4 nxt vid stay safe 🚜👍🇬🇧
Thanks Andy!

Get them done!
Always something to do

Nice one, had to one of you. Playing with your gear knob. Lol
It has to be done!

Brilliant keep going chaps

Cracking job guys , loving every episode. Reminds me of when I rebuilt my 1957 international b250 tractor
Love an International 👍
In the colonies we may have made that gasket from a breakfast cereal box. Preferably Kellogg's cornflakes. Save a few bucks or quid
Yep I've done that 🤣
I love it!
Job done👍 if it works, it works!
Awesome again!
Cheers John👍
What are you two on? its definitely not cake something like moonshine I feel, great show as always very worried about the amount of Ads appearing. Game on i suppose.
That was our first Ad show, we'll look at limiting them, put honestly, we aren't sure which settings to change! We are learning!
Hash brownie 🤣🤣
You'll get from the right of the dipstick, between the breather/fuel filters, round and up the back.
Thanks Jack, I'll take a look.
Or go up behind the breather, the little gap at the housing and up round. You'll suss the route 👍
Thanks👍

Great watch you two chaps, brings back memories from when I did mine, regret selling it now. What are your plans for the tractor when it’s finished?
No plans yet Graham, just focussing on bringing her back at the moment.
Nothing too strenuous for the old girl
Park it in a hedge? 🙃
You music is cracking me up. Love the video though, good to see you again.
Thanks for watching 👍
Hi guys, what is the country music you play in most episodes?
Keep up the inspiring work!
I've noticed you have not used any Hylomar or similar gasket sealer, any reason why?
I think this seem to be very much down to personal choice. For me, I'm not keen on it, and if using a gasket with reasonable mating surfaces I will avoid using it.
