    Question for the next show
Andy, I’ve been in great physical condition for 5+ years now. ( I’m a competitive bodybuilder) I’ve been a strong listener to you for a while now implementing the power list, 75 hard, and daily rucks( 135 today)however I feel the most struggle in the game of actually making money.
The physical part is actually easy for me but recently I feel as if it’s what’s holding me back from actually progressing my life. I can’t just lift weights and ruck all day long.
Can you give some advice on not being consumed by fitness and having that same output to actual real life work? I run my own business but find myself struggling in business often. How can I work as hard as I have in the gym on my business?

Question: after completing 75 hard a few years ago I’ve been incorporating the habits into a lifestyle. I went from a career making $40,000 in a 9-5 job now making $300,000 as a solar sales consultant. About 80% of my business is self generated leads and we just got word our commission is doubling for self gens. Good news! However, in the same week my manager walked away from his position and the company is now coming to me to fill his position. The management position would be a significant pay cut initially but if I can get my team to perform and bring in self generated like I have I will be set. I need management skills in my tool belt but I am hesitant to give up the life I have worked so hard for. What advice do you have?

Grateful to find a podcast like this every video is on topic with what I think about. Been starting to feel some what alone because of everyone still thinking short term and not long term. I'm trying to grind early, have ideas about starting businesses, and wanting to build my life early so I can enjoy the fruits of my labor later on in life. I'm the only one to think like this not to mention me lately paying more attention to what's goin on around us nd now I'm feeling like a "conspiracy theorist" compared to them. It's hard talking about anything real when it gets laughed at by a person who follows everything they read or see on tv..😅 Look forward to seeing more and more podcast fellas, y'all are doing your thing keep going!!

I turned 30 back in June and I had to examine everything in my life. I've wasted the past decade pussyfooting around, wondering what im going to do with my life. Well I've found that my calling has always been gunsmithing. Im taking action by starting a course with SDI in November. Ive already had many people that im wasting my time and money with that. To them, i say piss in a hole and dive in it! Im going after my goals and nobody can stop me. I go back to what my mother taught me......don't put any thought into other's opinions about you, they don't know your story, that is still being written. Now that I've listened to episode 208 about the Live Hard program, i plan on starting the 75 Hard next Monday. This week is going to be a warm-up to break the 'rust' off. I've already written out a strict diet and workouts im going to stick to, no matter what.

My office mate informed me a few days ago that she was gonna do 75 hard after the holidays. She has noticed the difference in me mentally and physically. I asked her if she was ready to go hard. To which she replied "Not as hard as you are". I'm getting to the point now that I have more respect for people who just come right out and say "fuck no, that ain't for me". Those that just wanna half ass it irritate the shit out of me.

    Question???
    AF-
I am working my way through 75 Hard, already have lost 30 lbs. After watching the Day in the Life and your dedication to rucking, I am wanting to take on a new challenge. I am looking for your advice around a starting ruck weight? Since only a few months ago, I was walking around carrying an additional 30 lbs. Would 30 lbs be the ideal weight I start with? Do you use the GORUCK plate carrier? Lastly, I would love to hear any pro tips when it comes to rucking?
Here's to Personal Excellence. Stay awesome Andy!!!

Hey Andy, I have a question about time management.
I am 20 years old, in the middle of changing career paths from filling pharmacy perscriptions to life insurance sales, because my current employer wasn't working with me trying to take on more responsibilities for money. Ontop of this, I'm working towards developing myself physically in the gym & at home. I'm picking up the guitar, with my lifetime goal to be a rockstar. I understand that I get out what I put into life. I'm worried that with my concerns for my fitness, and being able to afford food to fuel myself and keep a roof over my head.
My question for Andy is this. Andy, is it ever okay to sacrifice time spent in one area of my life (like reading or working out) to pour more into a certain area of my life (making money and becoming a rockstar)? Is it never okay to sacrifice time spent on X for time spent on Y? I worry that with all my goals and dreams in life, if I try to pick all of them all at once, I won't get any.
God Bless you for what all of you do at 1stPhorm. I'm thankful Tommy Vext shares the show, too. He ain't no hoe, and he is the guy I first heard about you from.

So Andy I am a dude 54 years old soon to be 55 I’m always trying to strive for personal excellence, but I feel that my personal excellence was definitely lacking especially after my folks divorced and my mom and myself and my brother moved into the reservation in South Dakota. don’t get me wrong I’m not blaming anybody not blaming my parents because I take full responsibility for lackluster performances, but now at this age I strive to be the best I can and of course at this age after years of motocross racing Martial arts when I was a youngster being in many accidents, This has all left me with the torn up Knees. So dude what I’m asking is what would your advice be to a guy who really probably should have dual knee replacements?

The 50 s hit us like a ton Of bricks brother ..I can tell you that we are only as good as we are today .. right .. so we take accountability for our position in life and we create a plan .. plant the seed..create the vision in which u see ur continual improvement.. I’m reaching out becuz I’m a similar age.. 53 soon.. if you look at my life from the outside u woukd think I have success.. but just like happiness .. success is fleeting..temporary and in the end ur just left with how you feel about yourself..( at the moment I feel like I have not even come close to accomplishing what I was supposed to in life)I was lucky enuf to be able to take a few years to slow the grind and reflect..but I probably could of used the time more wisely.. and perhaps allowed myself to much leash and been less than accountable for a more productive situation..I’m kicking around having to be accountable to someone other than myself.. sooner or later u get tired of ur bitch voice.. I think I’m there.. tired of the self doubt.. tired of living in a state of fear.. tired of excuses.. I used to think of myself as a 100 percentile man.. now I think of myself as a has been .. just like you I gotta get in my head and turn on the boss voice.. remember the bitch voice is the 7 year old kid that lives inside ur brain that’s scared of everything.. baby steps .. do something every day .. several things to improve ur state of mental wellbeing..you got this brother.. I’m right there with you.. little victories.. set the goal .. follow thru and do it again and again.. cheers

THIS. Someone was telling me 75 soft is a legitimate program.
To me, 75 soft is basically what everyone should be doing anyway, everyday.
If you’re not doing the bare minimum of 75 soft, you’re being a ninny.
Unless someone has severe physical ailments, “75 soft” is basic fundamental health, and is NOT a mental challenge.

Andy, since I was about 13 I’ve been extremely independent, mainly due to losing my mom at that young age and my dad having to work full time to provide. This independence has been beneficial in business helping me with a no options mentality, since I was raised that way anyway. The problem I’m running into is wanting to have a relationship and let someone else into my life. I struggle with being supportive to a girl and letting her into my life since I’ve been alone and only worried about myself for so long. What advice do you have? I am 25.

Thank you for your content. You are always on point. The world needs more people like you
My question is in regards to your childrens books. I have a son with down syndrome and i am wondering if your books would be good for him. I love the message that you consistently deliver to always give it your all and that hard work will pay off. I will raise my son with high expectations as any other typical child. The reality in his situation is because of his disability he probably will not get first place, he wont always win. I see the titles of your books "Play to Win" and "Finish First." Does the message in your books focus on hardwork or is it that you have to be better than others. I want quality books that encourage my son but can be realtable for his situation.

Andy-how do you deal with anxiety despite all the discipline through 75hard? That program gives tools that are very helpful but what do you do in those moments where you feel anxious and maybe some loss of control to reset? I agree with not wanting to take SSRIs or meds. They numb reaction for sure but is there a phrase you say to yourself or something you routinely think about that helps you get through those moments?

Mental Gym is brutal. Sometimes it's me getting in the way 😅 Discipline will always win over intelligence, but they are better when both are used at the same time.

I am a really consistent listener and have a pretty tight grasp on everything but sometimes you refer to people only by first name and I don't know if I have missed something or I'm just supposed to know but who or which Alex are you referring to? The only name that keeps popping in my head is Alex Jones but I don't think that his who you are speaking of.
