Almost a year since the 30-Series have been released, and I finally got one.. Just recently (2 days ago) was able to get the EVGA 3080 FTW3 Ultra via the EVGA queue system. Aside from stock shortages, I personally have an issue with the length of some of these new cards. I have a front mounted rad in my system and the clearance for it means that I will be locked into either the FE card or EVGA XC3 Black card as they're the only ones who have a chance to fit with my system's front mounted rad.

Not worth for gaming and since the 3080 is so close to the 3090 in performance, the 3080 and 3080 Super are probably going to have the same performance. Depends where you live, in the UK availability isn't too bad but is still a back log of ~1-2 months. As for the US I'd say you probably won't get one b4 Xmas
When nvidia finds out amd has more stock at better price points
Probably won't be readily available to casually buy one for several months.
No sooner then when you want one.
Ever heard of “Skin equals skill” that also applies to PCs
None. The correct answer is none, at least until you see what AMD has instore in 3 weeks.
For sure. Between the gaming focus and 7nm from AMD and the questions around the different memory and amounts the two companies are using it's definitely worth waiting a few weeks.
nah bro amd is dodo
M_yen_bot 1 Graphics cards, yes.
This aged well
@@ankitdas7887 didn't it tho?
Thanks for the info, showed great results and differences. Good video
Almost 4 months later and still not even a shred of hope of being in stock.
It has been another 4 months from when this comment was posted and they are still 2000$ resale
3:56 ... 75°C SuperHot Ambient temperature ❤❤❤
Quite a toasty test enviroment 😂
Hello people, I have a game test channel with different video cards, if you can pass it I would appreciate it very much and if you leave me any constructive comments, thank you
3:41 says ambient temperature is 75°C, are u in Mordor, Kyle? I mean, I know you are from LA, but... Btw, nice video :)
I actually like the Zotac look. Something about the exposed fan blade edges and the contours of the shroud appeal to me
same also the zotac brand I feel is very underrated and idk why everybody hates zotac so much
Almost a year since the 30-Series have been released, and I finally got one.. Just recently (2 days ago) was able to get the EVGA 3080 FTW3 Ultra via the EVGA queue system. It did take awhile, but the wait is over.. I'll have one of the Hybrid 3080 FTW3 poppin soon too.
I was really hoping by this time that GPUs might be more accessible for everyone. I really hope this does not become the norm..
Gratz, how is it running all this time later?
@@Floridarollin Well.. it was running great. That was until I had to send it back to EVGA.
I did the EVGA StepUp offer for the 3080 FTW3 and moved up to the 3080 Ti FTW3 since that post. Actually just got the 3080 Ti sent back from EVGA 2 days ago! Really haven't even had a chance to play with it too much yet. Waiting on a few parts from EK, then the water block is getting slapped on. Then, I'll start pushing it and see where it can go. :)
@@Antykain That's an awesome step up, glad their customer service is still on point. I've heard a mixed bagged reviews of the EVGA 3080s, and considering I've only had EVGA cards my whole entire life, I was kinda hesitant and bought a zotac instead w/ the 5 year warranty. I hope you're 3080ti serves you well though, I didn't see any bad reviews compared to the standard EVGA 3080, so I'm sure they fixed whatever was wrong with it.
I have to say that you are getting ridiculously good with the word flow Sir.
It’s a pleasure to hear condensed, straight to point info with a dose of cheeky comments.
3:48 You might want to get your AC looked at. Testing in a 75C room ;)
If I had to choose between the three I would go with a zotac trinity. I have a "zotac 1050ti oc edition", and it is still kicking ass and taking names! Im sure the others are just as great, just zotac holds a place in my heart.
And it has the best look
@@francomora909 I now have a 3070ti zotac OC edition gpu and it kicks ass. My old zotac 1050ti OC edition gpu was a beast, but not a 3070ti beast.

I dont remember the context of the video though so my apologies.
Answer: NONE!
Wait for AMD.
Haha great minds think alike 😁
Hope they undercut tf out of Nvidias pricing
@Devxn i love amd CPU but will never buy amd GPU because at that end of the nvidia always seems to have better optimization and more features
@@Esteve212 Haha same man, I would love to see them make cheaper GPUs with great performance, and better drivers godness. They need a lot of improvements.
MARKOUT TV Yup,they DONT have to beat Nvidia, just be near enough and cheaper.Just as AMD have done with Ryzen.
I recently just bought the ZOTAC version because that was the only card available at that time. Still waiting for the delivery though.
Please let me know how it is. I was told to refrain from getting Zotac, as many don't deem them to be a good company.
@@mangohush5946 So far, the card hasn't failed me yet. Runs all of my games no problem with the exception of a bit high temperature than the other RTX 30 cards but doesn't bother me that much. I don't know what everyone is talking about, tbh.
If you ever find RTX 30 cards in your stores, I recommend either this or ASUS TUF model for better cooling.
Is it noisy?
The Zotac 3080 is the card I got 2 days ago and I'm in love with it, all I can call it is a damn BEAST. 🔥
Is it noisy on load?
None in the shops because all the "creators" have at least 2 each.
Tens of thousands of people are wanting to buy 3080s. If you think a few youtubers having some cards is causing them to be out of stock, you're an idiot. It's bots and scalpers combined with nvidia not producing enough before launch.
Corey Batchelor dude chill its a joke
@@razeenrajaful Ihave a 980ti and get 90 to 110 fps in my chosen games , I am idiot enough not to have spent the price of a small car on a replacement.
No one's going to talk about the fact that he made a doug the mug reference 😭
As soon as he said "quirks and features" I lol'd
I was just watching another of this mans vids
Too
Same
Isn't it fun?
@@thvichuz yeah it is
And..
I'm happy to wait a year, but prefer the simple yet striking design and compactness of the Founders Edition. I also like the way it blows most heat OUT of the case instead of just AROUND the inside of it. Would have been much more useful to see temps in a closed case environment.
Aside from stock shortages,
I personally have an issue with the length of some of these new cards. I have a front mounted rad in my system and the clearance for it means that I will be locked into either the FE card or EVGA XC3 Black card as they're the only ones who have a chance to fit with my system's front mounted rad.
get a better case then
When you can't order one, and the guy has 3 xD
If stock is still nonexistent, maybe the _AMD 3080_
I have a Tuf gaming 3080 in my main build and the Founders edition 3080 in my mini ITX build. It's honestly surprising how well the FE performs against the board partner cards compared to previous series.
My man. U got 2? What a gamer
@@actuallyjustanapple yeah I really wanted the founders edition for in my mini ITX build for of blower style design.
bro how did you get 2
@@frankiebigrings7048 I live 15 minutes from microcenter and was able to get the Tuf gaming 3080 on launch day and I got the founders edition from my buddy 2 weeks ago for $750 because his wife had other plans in mind. Sad I know.
@@PabzRoz How is the TUF? I almost had that card, but it was sniped from my Newegg cart moments before final checkout.
I'm so happy i got my Asus rtx 3080 TUF in the mail on 1.10. :) I live in Finland and ordered it like 2 minutes after the launch time. Guess it helps to live in a smaller country.
I got the MSI Ventus 3080 because it was the one I could actually get!
I like it though - triple fan, no crazy aesthetic stuff.
Answer: whichever one is in stock at a legit retailer.
Doug reference deserves a like.
Hello people, I have a game test channel with different video cards, if you can pass it I would appreciate it very much and if you leave me any constructive comments, thank you
The ti version, should be out in 1 years with a wait of 10 years to have some stock
I wish you would test these in close cases because Im sure we would see a huge thermal difference with the FE blowing a significant portion of the hot air OUT of the case.
Out of the 3 I'd go founders. When I was giving the choice between msi, zotac and evga. I walked out microcenter with the evga
Title: "Which RTX 3080 should you buy?"
Meanwhile I'm just here waiting for the used RTX 2060 price to go down.
Waiting for GT 710 price drops on black friday
I'm waiting for the GT 210's price to go down lol
You should have started off the video by saying "THIS is the 2020 Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080 from Zotac"
Doug reference... Nice.
"Which RTX 3080 should we buy?"
= None of them, wait for the Ti Models.
Keep in mind that the tis will cost 200-300 dollars more tho.
Don't you mean Big Navi?
Super*
Might aswell buy 3090 then..
Wait till AMD
I really want to get my hands on the TUF but I can't find it anywhere. Newegg isn't implementing any anti-bot features, no they are bought within seconds from scalpers.
How about inside a case?
it seems the FE will blow most of the hot air out the back, while the other models will heat up the case.
“THIS, IS A 2020 RTX 3080 & I’ll tell you why it’s the hottest GPU on the market. I am going to go through all it’s quirks & features then I’ll take it out for a drive & give it a Doug Score”
Doug Demuro
Yes, I got the reference :)
yeah
the correct answer: anyone in stock.
It's hilarious that Kyle thinks this choice exists.
****KYLE please reply*****
what is that pc BEHIND you ON THE RIGHT SIDE, with OPEN case(TEST BENCH) & Aorus RTX 2070 in it?
Can you please do REVIEW or can you please tell the NAME of that OPEN CASE??????
Absolutely whichever one is in stock at this point. I don't care about any potential issues it may temporarily have. I'm suffering through using my buddy's Radeon 5770 on a 3440x1440 display. Not sure how much longer I can hold out...
Answer: the one thats in stock
Good luck
3:42 Ahh yes now we know why Nvidia is taking so long to bake these cards they are making them Sous Vide with those 75c ambient temps.
Its simple:
You don't buy any, but wait for the 20GB version.
Not worth for gaming and since the 3080 is so close to the 3090 in performance, the 3080 and 3080 Super are probably going to have the same performance. The 3080‘s are probably going to cost at least 800-900 when they are back in stock, so the Super model is probably going to cost upwards of 1200+. It‘s not going to be worth the wait or worth the price.
@@leg1tOW You're pulling that out of you butt. it will likely cost $800, maybe $900 and will be a much better future proof since memory will get constrained sooner rather than later on 10GB.
@@rickgear2579 youre probably right! It might cost 800-900 .. after a year or two. But when theyll launch I dont think youll get one under 1k. Gl waiting tho
Love the Doug DeMuro reference. I knew I heard that "quirks and features" somewhere else.
I bought my 3080 TUF on launch day and its expected to be delivered end of October.
Simple awnser
The one thats in stock
Title: “Which RTX 3080 should you buy”
Me: I wish I could get my hands on one almost three weeks later 😒
Probably better to wait for Big Navi at this point.
something like that yeah hopefully it’ll be good 😌
Bettar then rtx 3090 graphic card
Me: watches this even though I've never built a PC
*watching tech reviews when we don't even have money
I have asus tuf 3080 and its a beast. I maxed out every overclock setting on msi afterburner but the temps still stay cool. Never thought they'd make TUF brand so good.
I will try more overclocking after a few months. Don't wanna burn my GPU yet, especially since there are no replacement available at the moment... lol
My answer for the time being is none of them. I recently built a new system and put a 2070 Super in it, I MAY get a 3080 in about a year or so when 1) I can be sure it works correctly and 2) I can actually lay hands on the frigging thing.
