You cannot tahan the overbearing condo management team , property manager and how unfair is the malaysia law. even COB and High court are not protecting owner. the JMB can sue you for something like adding water pipe in high court and you got to pay rm100k to get a lawyer to defend you and pay legal cost of another party . Forest city is meant for foreigners with deep pockets. To Singaporean is nothing due to their strong currency & high salary. Other foreign nationals too should take advantage of it as M'sia offers a lot of access to the SEA economic region. HSR direct from S'pore through JB/Forest City & to KL should compliment the vibrancy. Govt policy must be streamlined in a fast track to entice the foreigner. M'sia govt must do a comparative research from other SEA countries in term of pricing mechanism & land ownership.

In fact too much buying of property by Singapireans are not reccommended. Thanks to Malaysian govt to have controls over buy/sell of properties by foreigners as can be seen the current too high then collapses of property market in China and citizens are suffering.
A con. Do not buy in Malaysia. No way you can retire early on these return on investments. Buy in Europe! Malaysian government super corrupt - all a con. If you want to throw so much money at a property then buy in Australia when the crash happens later this year. I have bought multiple countries and made a great return. A house is not just a home as 1 day you may want to move - who going to buy a second hand house in Malaysia for the price you would expect to get? Local Malaysians cannot afford the house prices and overseas investors are spending more money in safer markets e.g. NZ, Australia, Europe, US.

ultimately, still worry about the high crime rate, give some $ to e security guard can access already, y do such good barricades? unlike Japan
K then live in Japan lah 😂
🤣🤣🤣 helo makcik crimes can be anywhere la...
Then how about buy house in China. ....
Rule of thumb, if you don't know don't touch.
Buy in Europe. Omg stay away from Asian markets. You can get mortgages in Europe for less than 3 percent as an overseas investor and rent for at least a 5 percent ROI without trying. Do your research!!!
@@WISERandHAPPIER yah buy in italy, $1 can buy. the reason it is so cheap because their own ppl migrate out..lol

Always buy a move in ready unit! No matter what country!
Alasan yg tepat .

you must ask the reason why so many condo owner rather sell at a big lost than to just keep since it 's Freehold Condo, then there must be reason why owner are so deep set to sell. i tell you why. Unguardedd landed property you don't pay any mgmt to look over your shoulder and some evil neigbhour complain about your renovation.
Do not buy in Malaysia. Renting a much better idea. If you want to make sure your money grows just buy EFT shares or buy property in another country. A property is far too expensive in Malaysia, lots of empty properties and rental return is terrible. Without trying I can buy in Europe which is much more secure and rental return is much much better.
aduh omputih ni...ngomen x abes2 soh org beli kt europe..ko ni skolah ke tidak?kn malaysia ni dekat setapak je ngan singapura..nk g jauh2 buang duit apepasal?
Betul ..Omputih ni depa punye currency tinggi ! kita Malaysian currency rendah mana mampu nak invest kat Europe? bole balik Europe laa...die nie..!!!
Your financial reason never be able to buying Europe
No thanks. Seem too many colosseum in Malaysia in the past when developers go bust and abandone the projects. Forest city is another example. Renting on the other hand is ok. Let the investors take the risk and fund the tenant to enjoy new projects. Thank you.
Yes that’s good

Ask singapore to buy rural area in malaysia
Yes you are right, because in rural area, they are selling quite cheap compare to the urban area like Kuala Lumpur.
True they can consider Kelantan/Trengganu.. very peaceful place.
The answers to your questions fall back to your secondary school. Why Where who When How.
Don't know? why not ask and gather info? sounded those never bought a property in their lifetime
Right, He is like a young chiku trying to tell the negative part of Malaysia.
BUY??????......RENT👍👍👍👍👍
Better stay away from malaysia property unless u plan to retire there...
Going to retire in Malaysia and no way I would buy there. Look how cheap the rent is in Penang compared to the cost of buying.
how to retire there? MM2H conditions are ridiculous. Without MM2H, Msian customs will interview you and tell you its illegal to stay in Msia. Basically they will not allow you to use social visit to live in Msia.
Exchange rate losses
Indefinite supply
Badly maintained
Pathetic rental yield
Seriously, Singaporean doesn't know how to rent or sell overseas properties? this sounds so corny.
Bottom line is trust
I trust a financial advisor who rides a moped!
These 5 reasons are already outdated......

No logic and not to the point at all. Singaporeans have great eagerness to buy a lot of property specially in Johore & profitting. In fact too much buying of property by Singapireans are not reccommended. Thanks to Malaysian govt to have controls over buy/sell of properties by foreigners as can be seen the current too high then collapses of property market in China and citizens are suffering.
❤yes 🎉 because the only country Singapore can show colour & disagree to everythings is Malaysia the neighbour!!😂❤
smell bs. please address the uncle smashing 2M condo at KLCC TROPICANA
No comment on that uncle. Focus on ourselves.
@@WISERandHAPPIER Totally agree with this. If one wants to retire in Malaysian big cities, just rent. It's just so affordable plus if you are not happy at the end of the tenure, just move out maybe to a better and cheaper unit.
A lot of scam in Johor .
Better live in strata landed home in Malaysia then living in a bird cage in Singapore ..lol
seeing the property devalued and Ringgit depreciating , heart attack & bleeding non stop, LOL.
It simply can't compare lah. MY is big n Singapore is small. That's why Singapore is expensive as every per foot count $$$$. But at least our HDB repaint every 5 years and even upgraded. This so call bird cage Never look old leh. Well maintained.
Ya sure, u probably need a boat to keep it afloat when it floods. 😅
@@CSB-pu9mc Nah average Malaysian lives in landed homes without the need for boats 😂, but bird cages cant be avoided in Singapore, no wonder your population is dwindling due to bird cage effects. No place to give kids their own room 😂
@@blessedcheflim8579 If your property gets devalued, most probably your not smart enough to invest in properties
Both of them got a cute accent.
Well at least we get to own stuff.
In Malaysia we don’t buy n sell. We buy n stay. Singapore home flat $500k -600k hdb small cage? 99 years? Singapore is not home, is flat. Malaysia is home 🏡. Singapore hdb can heard up stair dragging chairs, playing mahjong next door k R ok.
Half my family are from Malaysia and it's true that most Malaysian buy house or condos to live. However they also constantly on their feet about crimes not just from locals (all races) but also from illegal migrants. Also getting services done from gov dept or stat boards can be rather challenging at times, if you know what I mean.
While HDB may be small, not so sound proof, it makes up for security and reliable services.
So each has it own merits and inconveniences.

Most who buy properties in Malaysia are mainly those who have a Malaysian spouse, if I am not wrong. My friend whose wife is a Malaysian bought a terrace house in kluang and turned it into an airbnb.
