Wow one of the most informative episodes. Since you already taken the UK plunge, all the best for your foreign adventures! Hope that you had a good "friendship price" from them.
the first thing that came to my mind was also the FOREX... earning GBP1.6k there and using GBP500 to pay the mortgage here.... is GPB 1.1k there enough?
Yes true the bank loan is based on the market value by professional valuer...speaking of which the property agent my plug the valuation out of thin air
Thanks, Sean for answering my question. The reason behind this was because of less to no commitments and affordability-wise, it's 35% of my salary. You've got a valid point there, I should invest in my skillsets which I am working on in parallel. Maybe I can go for cheaper investments or have backup support to be safe in unforeseen circumstances. The rental yield was based on my research from the property market which I've considered the lowest. First time asking such a long question so forgive the confusions that appeared here and there. My plan is to build a good job portfolio here for 5-6 years. If I proceed with this I'll have some level of commitment to keep developing myself for better earning ability. The exit strategy is what I am still thinking of which I will figure out before jumping in. Thanks for answering your best to my queries.
Yea. So my suggestion is to first chill and focus on the career while doing more research around properties that are not as expensive. Expensive is not necessarily good yea, plus within that zone you can anytime come back in 5 years time to own them, maybe at cheaper price too.
Hey Kumar, it's really happy to know that you start thinking of property investing at such a young age. While you cannot invest in property yet, I'd suggest you to invest in stock market by doing dollar cost averaging into SP500 etf on monthly basis. That grows your savings while you are getting ready to enter property market. Don't get me wrong. I'm not selling you anything but just merely sharing. 😊
Malaysia’s agents are so not professional, and usually when you hear something that is so good so good(be it any field including cars), they were usually exaggerated by the agents.
Hello Sean, thanks for the great insightful knowledge and really love the contents that you put out! BUT why would you still rent a place instead of staying in one of the properties that you owned? I'm sure you owned multiple properties by now
I buy 5 properties all for investment. But the one I stay is rented, monthly costs less than bank instalments if I buy, also it's near to our workplace
Morning Sean, wanted to know how to identify median price psf. Let's say we compare within that area, but all the developer pyt high price tag...Then how? Any other method for new property?
Hi sean, im Bevis im 25 yo currently making nett income of 4.7k, what is your opinion on savings before start investing in property, whats the amount that you would say is enough for security and safe to play the game?

Wah, thanks for sharing very scary but important questions to consider!

Not just property agents, many different field salesperson are actually bad at their job 😂 ask them stuff and 70% of the time they reply don't know.

The whole video seems like KL Sentral really not like a good choice. 😅
It’s not suitable for this young audience lah. The currency exchange gave them illusions of affordability.
