Even though the title fight is low anticipation, the star power is low and it's taking place in Brazil, UFC 301 is honestly an underrated card. The fights taking place are actually interesting and i'm expecting this card to go down as one of the worst cards in terms of hype but ends up performing really well. i totally agree, people like to say that this card is bad because there's no big names like 298, 299, 300... but this card is full of ENTERTAINING names, even if they're not big stars, they are all fighters who have very fun fights almost everytime
It’s definitely not as good as 298, 299, and 300, but it’s still a good card. The hate mostly comes from casuals who expect 10 title fights on every card

UFC 298, 299, and 300 spoiled us alot let's be honest, it's gonna be hard for some ufc fans to get really excited for the next cards because it will look so bland compared to UFC 298, 299, and 300.
Its not even about that though theyve got anthony smith as the 3rd to last fight no one cares

I disagree with your third reason why the card isn’t good. Saying flyweights can never main event is kinda wack because with Moreno he was so loved and so followed by people and I think the figui fights were incredible and entertaining asf. And I’m sure we’ll get some kinda superstar in flyweight at some point who’s rightful for a main event

I haver never seen a boring fight from Pantoja or Aldo, the key factor is that all the big stars (specially brazilians) already fought from 298 to 300 so we endend up getting the short end of the stick. And wich such great fights coming on 302 and 303 its easy see this one as a lackluster event. No problem to call 301 as a glorified fight night, but definitely not boring

It say it was EXCELLENT for how low the name value it contained.
But with that being said, the clear biased judging towards the brazilian fighters kind of ruined the card.

Except for Pantoja, there is just 1 top 10 fighter in this whole card. There are fight nights better than this.

This is capppppp, 2 title fights, strickland vs drucus, allen vs movsar, bryce vs Emmet. Plenty of high level fighters in their prime on 297
