Love this! Thank you for sharing! We are using the themed writing course for Ancient History to go along with our history study next year! 😊

We really could be Homeschool Buddies! I had my eye on the Ancient History one for next year until this came out. It was down to these 2 and my daughter chose "cool science." :)

@@HomeschoolwithJen that’s so neat! My daughter finished SSS and decided to try a themed unit for next year (choosing Ancient History since we will be studying that time period)! 😊

We did Ancient History last year to go along with history. This year we are doing this new themed writing. What grades are your kids? We had to slow down the weekly pace of Ancient History this past year for my 4th grader.

Where do kids write their paragraphs? Sorry, if there was any mention about, I missed bc I'm watching on mute. It's basically 3am kids are sleeping but I'm curriculum planning.

Jen, did you happen to take the IEW Teaching Writing course? I am looking at it and wondering if it's valuable. I am a fairly competent writer but I am someone who likes to be prepared to help my kids as much as possible. TIA!

I understand! Topics are so important in writing. Something that is deemed interesting is vital for my child. Hope you have a great day, Ashlea!

Would this be replacing science or is it additional information?

I would use it for additional information. There is not enough content to replace a science course in upper elementary/middle school. Thank you for the question!
