Thanks for being forward thinking an seeing a fix an acting on it. I love my echo 4910 an love it more now that i have your kit on it. And i have to give a shout out to Charles Brisco, i emailed him from one of his videos for you're info an he got back to me in minutes. I love the chainsaw community
Thank you Alex! Your work has really improved these saws! I’d started adapting the filter for my 4910, but the top cover was a show stopper for me, I’m very thankful you with your machining and 3d printing skills came along to provide your expertise and produce such high quality products! These saws are now amazing 😎👍
👍👍 good products sir! I played around with rc cars decades ago- thr old RC-10. About 5 years ago, picked up a car for my kid with the brushless lithium ion batteries- blown away how much better they were than nicad. Run time and power was amazing. Will be waiting to see what you come up with.
@@crazyfeller5704 when brushed motors were a thing, I used to own a TRINITY comm lathe and would turn my comms every 2-5 battery packs. New brushes and break in consistently. We even soldered our NiMh packs into the system without connectors for a slight edge with less resistance. Batteries back then around (2000) were very pricey for matched packs. I want to say over $100-140 or so per sub c 6 cell pack plus battery bars and wire. 😉😳 I did have sponsors.
So proud of you. Grown up watching my big brother come up with wild ideas that could be game changers for the field they are in. Always knew you had it in you to get one produced and people would love it. Can’t wait to see what you do with the electric chain saw. Maybe it will also get you back to the battery powered MIG welder you made
The chainsaw community really is a great bunch of people for the most part! A super hot electric saw would be very interesting👍🏻 for actual use it wouldn't be practical, but for cookie cutting I think a backpack battery pack would be acceptable😁
Yes sir, thank you for designing and making a superior product. I really like our 4910 kit and recommend and share the link to your page when anyone asks for it.
Great Video Alex, nice to put a face with the name and company. As an enthusiast I can tell you what a pleasure it is to deal with a small innovative company with top quality products at a fair price. From a consumer standpoint you are a very rare and welcome vendor. Keep up the great work work and the best of wishes for you new project with the electric chain saw. 100 % satisfied end user here.🤗
We need to talk Alex. I used to race expert Mod as a kid with Brian Kinwald at M&M hobbies in SoCal. I am super excited to see what you come up with here.
What about super capacitors instead of batteries? Or do you need the battery voltage for computer control? Separate power supplies for separate systems?
Super capacitors are an option. Just to get it working I'll probably use some batteries i all ready have. There big so the batteries will probably be on a backpack for the first version.
It’s one thing to know how to use a chainsaw, but it’s another to use a chainsaw & be able to design & manufacture parts that improve the performance of the saw. Thank you 👍
