hi, how come the beam looks so different? is it due to the reflector or the emitter? i thought that both these emitters were similar floody types. thank you!
The 519a s2+ has an orange peel reflector which smooths out the beam making it more floody. The 519a is also more powerful lumen wise. The s21a 219b has a smooth reflector with a more prominent hot spot. It also has a rosier tint than the 519a.
I do not have this emitters in a convoy s2+ but I have 4 of them in the sofirn if25a. The tint is ok but the light steps down quickly from turbo as it gets quite hot quickly.
Thanks for posting this video and info! I am looking at another Emisar light with the 519a instead of the 219b, which I have currently.
You are welcome. I do not have any Emisar lights...yet. I really like both of these Convoys though.
