I think that Takeshi is underutilized later on in the anime. It would be epic to see Takeshi take on a redemption arc, training like never before and in the end defeating the Emperors on Irohazaka in his iconic R32, against all odds. Maybe incorporate his love interest Sayuki into the mix and finally make Shingo and Nakazato realize their friendship regardless of Shingo's failed coup d'etat in Nightkids. There is just so much more that could be said and done with Nakazato. He is for me the biggest loose end in the show.
The creator somehow doesn't like to make relationship's, you have iketani, itsuki and keisuke for example. Something about iketani being like the creator bad at love so that's why he never ended up with mako. Still I feel sad, I was hoping the revenge of Nakazato against the emperor or takumi. Or even the final battle of keisuke vs takumi.
