I highly recommend VRChat's Initial D worlds to get the same itch playing a JDM touge racing game. VR Headsets aren't required just a PC good enough to run the game in desktop mode which isn't that hard.
It’s really stupid but it’s because the home course (Tsuchihasaka) has a lot of low speed yet very long hairpins and it was just to allow for a more aggressive four wheel drift in these corners It’s complete bs in my opinion but that’s what the canonical reason for it was from what I remember.

Removing the wing from an AWD car is good, since I remember Ryosuke said he employs high level grip onto all tires. Removing the wing adds more "force" onto the car, and more drag, it then makes the car oversteer. This makes sense because AWDs always understeer in the corners.

ブレーキングが手前とか甘いとは言われてますが、ランエボ自体突っ込み気味に進入するより少し早めのブレーキングから小さく回りつつ太いトルクで一気に立ち上がってタイム出すタイプの車なんですよね。
無理に突っ込んでから一気に姿勢変えようとしたら頭の重さとAYCとかサチってどアンダーになる気がします……
