    Wanted to thank you for the video's of your build. I'm building a 68 Coronet 500 for my wife. I installed a 5.7 Hemi bolted to a 904 , EZ EFI retro fit kit and MSD Hemi 6. Thanks to your video's I was able to get it up and running with very few issues. While it's still a work in progress your info was a huge help... Good luck with your cars!!!

      tbrogdon64, you’re welcome. Make sure you use a clean or new fuel tank. I put in a new Spectra tank with an I tank pump after my rusty tank killed this engine running lean. I now have a newer engine with a Hotwire harness and love how well these engines run, even when it’s only 28 degrees out.

      I saw where you picked up an 09 5.7. Oh yes I've been down that road with dirty fuel systems. I put a new tank with and in tank pump from Tanks inc also new fuel line while adding a corvette filter for a returnless system. It's working great and holding above 43 PSI. I do have a question if you don't mind. In the MDS instructions It's asking to use and adaptor off of the OEM Coil one for multi-port. Sense I don't have that connection I supplied a Switched 12v connection. Do you know if that's all it needs?

      Yes, that connector is for using factory control to adjust timing. You are correct by just putting a switched 12v to that wire.

      Hey ShelbyDogg, I'm having an issue with my MSD Hemi 6 6013 which is no spark. While cranking the MSD software is showing Alerts on all 8 coils. (Coil 1 Fault thru coil 8). I haven't made any changes to the default setting. I spoke with tech support and the tech really had no clue. Do you have any thoughts.

    The EFI will work with any engine if you give it a tach and vacuum to the MAP sensor. The Ignition can be handled by the XIM spark controller.

    Wow this video is a godsend I just got a 2014 5.7 for cheap and was dreading all the money I thought I'd have to spend on a new harness, ECU etc.

      2014 Hemi, go with the new Mopar controller. $1700 list but if you know anyone that can get you the discount, about $1200. Then you can use a manual tranny, a 727 or 518. They don't control trans unless you get a Hotwire harness and a programmed ECU

    I traded a trans for the Hemi that I had less than $100 in. To drop it in my Cuda, I used a $255 oil pan, $145 TTI mounts, and $300 conversion flywheel. Ignition is around $710 for the MSD 6013. For fuel a new EZ-EFI is about $850. If you are on a tight budget the use a 440. All parts are available used or cheap from others doing hemis.

      ShelbyDogg I have an 06 5.7 hemi out of a 300, im planning on putting in my 68 Coronet. I actually bought the engine with the engine computer only, and a NAG1 auto. I quickly decided the nag1 is gonna be way too much hassle so I'm sticking with my small block 904. So far I've purchased milodon swap oil pan, Tti swap mounts, and bought the Hemi6 ignition controller for it, because it was such a good price (eBay!). One way or another I want efi. Either use factory intake and throttle body and run it with system such as the FAST, or the carbureted intake but with something like msd atomic, Holley sniper, etc. My question is in my situation, knowing what you know, what path should I go?

      Kelly, that’s a hard choice for me because the MSD Atomic, Holley Sniper and also the FiTech all put their computers inside the throttle body on top of the engine. When you turn your car off, ALL of the heat goes to the top. Chrysler tried that in 81 with the EFI Imperial and they had a meltdown. Get it in and running with the 6013 and a carb first. I’ve seen Herb McCandless’ car and he had the same setup. Once you get it running, you’ll see if you want to convert it later or plan the next swap. Look for my Cuda in the Dec 2019 issue of Mopar Action. I was told it might be in there.

      When you ran it on the stand what did you use for the flywheel? Assuming you used a SB mopar bellhousing and mini starter.

      sprprops1, conversion flywheels are sold by many companies such a Summit, JEGS, Mopar Performance, etc. google hemi conversion flywheel.

    Hey awesome way of running this. I went tge megasquirt way on my build. Only thing im wondering is where exactly you posted the build to modify the drive by wire throttle body to the cable style. I would live to read on that since im just running a gm 454 TB with a haggard adapter i made

    How on earth did you rig the throttle body to be a manual flip switch??
    Can it be modified and still ran by the stock ECU while in the car???
    I need details please!!!!!

      Excellenz Creationz, one of my other videos shows my TB open when I removed a gear holding it open for idle. I got a splined shaft and arm from jegs and welded it on. I don’t know what a stock ECU would do if you used this to open the throttle. It’ll probably thing the TB hung open and go into limp mode or this the engine off.

    Hey I was listening to your problem with your power steering psi. Pump you could use one from a Toyota Echo. It has 800 psi
    If you look at the original chrysler pump you will see it may by toyota.
    I hope this will help you I did it to my 2010 challenge

    Do the pickup truck engines have a different cam, and horsepower and torque profile compared to the car motors? Or are they identical?
    If it was a chevy LS it probably would differ like the car vs truck application.
    Curious before i go hunting for a donor. For my 1985 ramcharger 4×4 automatic.
    And thanks for posting this. May have givin me the nudge i needed to start the swap.

      John, you will probably have to turn off the security part in the computer for it to start. Get on Facebook and join the G3 HEMI SWAP page. Lots on questions already answered many times.

      You’ll have to send it off to get the security removed and pay somebody or you can buy an HP tuner device and remove it yourself. Probably better buying the device because then you can tune it. If you want to send it off places like hotwireauto.com can do it for you.

    DID YOU HAVE TO CHANGE THE 24 TOOTH RING GEAR ON CRANKSHAFT.. INSIDE OF OILPAN...? JUST CURIOUS.. Ive seen so many different videos.. trying to find cheapest rouote for my self I have 06 300c engine for 72 duster
