Cynic were so ahead of their time. They almost seem out of place in this video.
An official release of Cynic's entire set at Dynamo would be incredible. Hopefully it was filmed in it's entirety.

Watching and recording this in 94 felt like being handed the keys to our initiation site. One minute we're mourning Cobain, the next minute we are shown Andy Garcia stumbling into the drumkit. Youth is adaptation, magic, novelty!

The Organization is my favorite Band on this Festival! It was the talk of the town in the Bay Area 1994!🔥✨

The Obsessed playing at an open air festival is so strange, but they deserve every bit of success they can get. Wino has a tone that makes him sound like 2 guitarists at times.
And with the mighty Kyuss on this bill, this would have been an epic show to be at!

I wasn´t aware that Dynamo was so, erm, disorganized and not sooo professional... But it seems the crowd had fun :D
Was there, but only can remember The Organization and Danzig, damn 😅
As much as I love Cynic the audience looked so confused haha
They were too different from what was cool at the time for them to be full embraced by that crowed
123612100 yea and it certainly doesn’t help that they opened for Cannibal Corpse. Most of the fans were really looking for the gory lyrics and brutality..probably weren’t expecting avant garde death metal as an opener.
They got booed off stage when they opened for cannibal corpse. But cynic was different from everyone else. It’s ashamed it went relatively unnoticed
I was the bass player for Skrew at this show. Cynic went on super early in the morning and I think everyone was still asleep or hungover for their set. If they had gone on later in the day I'm sure people would have been into it more.
Cynic will live on as a legend for every Prog-Lover that started with metal at that time .... incredible music, incredible musicians. The Seans are missed ....
I wonder if any more Kyuss footage exists?

In many cases, these remastered, unique and previously unreleased or even unheard recordings will be the perfect vehicle to travel back in time and witness first hand, how bands that became superstars later gave their debut performance for a European crowd.
I just googled it and wow, there's actually a chance! Bizarre Fest and that Italian TV appearance are the only pro shot Kyuss concerts that exist on UA-cam right now (other than that show from 91).
