As a guy with a soft spot for 1973-74 roadrunner / satellites i can say, I've watched the market for the past year or two and I've never seen a satellite with a 318 go for $15k. Not trying to be rude, just being real with ya. The only ones i see go for over $15k are big block cars that are daily driver ready.

Literally had the same car in the same color back in high school. Buddy and I redid the engine - it was a 318 we bored out and put in a holley 4bb carb, new flowmaster exhaust. Sadly, my stupid 16 year old self wrecked it a couple times b/c I couldn't drive properly at the time. Cool to see it again. I know it's not super cool, but I love the look of that car
I can appreciate the fact that you would like to get a lot more money out of that vehicle but with that said, I think 8k was a realistic price for a 318 car in the shape it’s in.

I wish I would have found this car this past fall. I was looking for a project. I pulled a '66 AMC Rambler Rebel from a Kansas field. It's all original, 327ci/3sp auto. I can guarantee you that I will put more money into the restoration than the car will be worth. But, try finding one, or even parts for one. Preserving history isn't cheap. For what I have spent so far, I could have bought your car, and be driving it already. Certainly worth more than the $8000.00. Good Luck with the Auction!

$15k is a pipe dream. Just because you got taken by buying this car, doesn't mean there's someone else willing to follow in your footsteps.
My personal opinion (yeah, tell me what I can do with that) it is unlikely you will ever see anywhere near $10k, but good luck. Sell to the highest
bidder and add in your YT revenue on its video views and maybe it won't be a terrible outcome. You make a lot of hasty (poor) decisions, so it's like
you're gambling in Las Vegas - sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

he gambled a bit, he was under the impression it was a real road runner, he could pick up cheap, when in fact it was really a "SATELLITE" I've seen a couple of those go for what he asking or more, but those ones were in good unmolested original condition..

I don't think for a second that he genuinely thought he was buying an original Roadrunner. Just like his supposed GTO purchase he knew a 100% it wasn't a real GTO convertible. My opinion anyway ....

I'd love to own that car but unfortunately, I don't have that kind of cash laying around. A Road Runner hood would probably help you fetch a few more bucks for it but I don't see you breaking even on it no matter what you do.

Randy, the listing has the Title as "OK- CERT OF TITLE-REBUILT ". In this video you said it's a "clean title", so you really need to fix that if you want to ma out on the $$. Just a hint...😉
When I saw your first video on this car I thought you paid close to the actual value. But then you showed all the hail damage the cracked paint on the roof ( which makes me think there is a lot of bondo ) I would take 10000 + to repair the body and paint.and have a car worth about 15000
That’s the problem with buying something you haven’t seen in person, unfortunately. Pictures don’t always do justice.
Investing that kind of cash in a tribute car only makes sense if you intend to keep it for sentimental reasons unless you Resto mod it.

If I wasn't still under my classic car loan for my 1996 Chevy Impala SS I would have my Credit Union to finance your car for the price that you are requesting I could definitely get your car right now because I have that excellent credit but unfortunately I'm still on the loan but it will be paid off in the next couple of years and I will purchase a classic truck so I will keep in taps on your channel for a possible future buyer take care.

Well to be honest I liked the orange crush however the roadrunner (satellite) to make it right will need a paint job and if you want any performance the motor and trans would have to go just the facts and if you pay 13k for a satellite and sink more money in it I just don’t think you ever get it back nothing personal it’s a nice car but I don’t think 8 to 9 would be a reasonable offer again not trying to offend I hope you get what you need for the car love watching the videos ❤

It is a rebuilt title the hail damage “totaled” the car, which is why it’s “rebuilt”

Salvage Rebuilt: A vehicle that has a salvage title is transferred to a new owner who has repaired the vehicle, completed the proper documents and had the vehicle inspected by an authorized agent of the DMV before titling in his/her name.
@@bloodybones63 ahh yes but that means nothing to the state. I live near the GA state line, and I can buy a car in Savannah Copart as a private individual…. Leave the car at the yard… take the title to the SC dmv walk out with plates and title go back, throw the plates on and drive the car home legally. It will have a salvage brand but again that does not mean anything as far as registering/driving the car.
