    This tip saved my season last year. Was in a slump. And put a blade on and next cast got a keeper.

    Thank you. This is a great addition to glup the snappers. Tear them apart sometimes the blues drive me crazy I know your willow will work for me, and I will be getting a few of them .

    Cool product!! I take a freshwater in line spinner with white fly or no fly (I like Panther Martin double blade) and replace the hook with an in-line single hook. It catches fluke just as well as single jig with gulp-which I learned from your channel and find so much fun.

    The blow fish were worse than the snappers last year. There were a few times I switched to a high low rig, used gulp pieces that were wrecked and started catching them.

    That is an awesome mod. Do you think they will work on a de tailed Gulp shrimp or Zman minnow ? How about attached to the hook shank ? I have success in NC with a Zman chatterbait in stained water, noise and flash. Thank you Sir.

      Thanks! It's harder to twist into Elaztech, but I've read heating the coil helps. But any gulp, any soft plastic (plastisol baits) would work

      @@CookingandFishing I don't have any of the attachments. LOL - will see if I can grab some from you when they are available (or if anyplace has similar). I know it's not same but I did get some of the weedless jerk shad hooks with have a small spinner attachement. Will work similar but I like how you piece screws into the bait. Flounder should be showing on the beaches here. I am sure they are around, but I've just not had much luck in my area until June. Might try further south next time I'm here (wind has been AWFUL)

    What do you think of z-man jerk shads? They make pro-cure scented ones now. Ive had really good results using the paddletails for fluke and surviving nips from porgy and bluefish. Plan to use the jerkshadz this summer

    • @CookingandFishing
      @CookingandFishing  3 місяці тому +2

      Gulp will always, always outfish any other soft plastic by a wide margin. Most of the time it won't even be close. We've done countless side by side testing over the years and there's really no reason to not use gulp unless as you said the blues/blowfish are thick.
