- Hello everyone, I'm on air again. Everything goes as usual - i listen to minimal deep, sip wine and build the body of the Nissan GT-R R35 LB Works. This stage was somehow difficult for me. A lot of gluing, putty, sanding. I tried to make the LB Works style in his combat style, it worked out well overall, but I still have to try on the technique of working with the airbrush. The decals didn't quite want to weld well, so at the end they said hello and went off along with the masking tape, I had to finish painting, which can be seen closer to the end of the video. In general, I was tormented with this body, but the more valuable the experience and the result.
Taking this opportunity, I would say thank you guys that you are still with me, peace and beer 🍻

Nice airbrush work brother. Superb save on those peeling decals. One of the main reason I won’t use Alclads clears is their unreliability as you found out to, I am not a fan at all of them. Had nothing but frustrating results from all their clears. I get on with the standard colours however especially the Hotmetals. Either way, we live and learn
Hi my friend, yes you are right. I have learned, Alclad clearcoats are not very good as a top coat. As an aid, they help sometimes.

First off love the channel and your work. Secondly can i ask what you clean the body and parts with before primer? I have tried everything from good old soap and water to rubbing alcohol but still my primer bubbles then flakes off. It is driving me nuts and has ruined 2 of my model kits. I have only been modelling for a couple of months and still very new to this. Everytime i airbrush the primer on and leave it to dry it happens. Please help.

@@Scaleautoshop thanks for replying. I was using Ultimate Modelling Products primer which i have found out is no good. I switched to AK primer with microfiller which i used today for the first time and got perfect results. It sprayed really well and has not bubbled or flaked off so think this will be the primer i use from now on. It just got a bit disheartning after using it on two different model cars only to find it flaking off once it had dried. Going to strip them back to bare plastic and start again with them. I really appreciate you replying to help but hopefully i am all sorted now. Love the builds and love the channel, keep up the amazing videos 👍🏻😀
@@rcgeordiecrawler2710 i did not try both. I use tamiya's primer and zero paints. There were no problems till now 🙂

The hood is opening, so an engine can be mounted if you have one
Is it a must to have the body cut?😭 I want to buy this kit but I dun think I can do a fine cut🤦🏻♂️
you dont need to cut super fine. It needs only to fit the wheels.
