of course. he was so friendly with ben, being the one he confined in. he offer an alibi off the spot. he know callum and ben had marriage issues so he played on ben's vulnerability then when he got what he wanted. he gaslight him. that sounds like someone who has done it before but im glad the show confirmed my suspicions.
I knew that Ben wasn't Lewis's first, no one starts with their boss's son. But I do like that the show shows that Lewis is a repeat predator, who clearly shows no remorse in his actions or behavior. He clearly gets off on what he does to these men, how he steals their power, he's not gonna stop and there are other men out there who have been harmed by him.
@@spencerreid2086 Yes and no. Ben went through a deeply traumatic hate crime where he was badly beaten and his boyfriend Paul had been killed just for being gay and a couple. One of Paul's killers had been recently released when he was supposed to get a longer sentence. Then Ben and Callum were involved in another beating by a gang for being gay. And Ben who hadn't really gotten treatment for it the last time around had a bit of a nervous breakdown. And being a Mitchell he didn't deal with anything of that well. So in his very messed up mental state, he thought he was protecting, keeping Callum safe, and getting revenge against those that took Paul. It was very wrong and vile, and Ben never should have done such a thing. It was not beneficial to his mind or soul. But Ben was in a messed up state while doing this. Lewis on the other hand clearly knew what he was doing, deprived pleasure from the whole thing, and felt no remorse from his actions. Since it wasn't just Ben that was one of Lewis's victims.
Lewis needs to be urgently reacquainted with the terms of consent. How if someone says NO, then you stop. It doesn't matter if they want it or not. if someone says NO, then you should stop. If you don't stop then it is rape, isn't it LEWIS.
To whoever replied to me calling me vanilla because I said no means no. Sorry but if you carry on having sex with someone once they've said no then you're a rapist. (unless specified safe words before this however, is not one of those situations) if you believe you can carry on when someone says no then get help.
Hate to admit it but Lewis is right. R demons feed of power and control when assaulting ppl. Ben fed of control when he was attacking those men to a point he put Peter in hospital.
I actually feel sorry for Lewis, no I'm not condoning what he did but he had a harder life than Ben's, at least the human trafficker has a large supporting group (Phil, Kathy, Jay, Callum, Sharon and Lola) meanwhile Lewis has to rely on himself alone without having a shoulder to cry on. Lewis is such a great multi faceted villain.
Even with what he says here, I don't think we know about Lewis' life to declare it harder than Ben's. Ben was born with a hearing impairment. His mother then faked her own death and abandoned him as a child. Phil's girlfriend then physically and mentally abused him. He was bulled at school. He had Phil as his primary caregiver for most of his life. Not only that, but he went to prison multiple times, where he also bullied. I mean, I get his own actions lead to him going to prison but he was young and it certainly added to his trauma. Ben's life growing up was traumatic as hell.
"I'm not condoning what he did" hahahahahaha bro, you ARE condoning it by saying "ooohh but Lewis has had such a tough life" alright then don't complain at other people when they say Ben is the way he is because of a tough life
Please delete this moronic comment and stop being a rape apologist! Regardless of whatever kind of life Lewis has had, he is an adult and responsible for his actions- many, many people have had horrendously hard lives and don't go around raping others.
“it ain’t actually that complicated. either your both in or you ain’t” - truer words have not be spoken!
One of the only times I like Ben being a bit agressive
Hate Lewis which means the actor is brilliant!
The actor who plays Lewis is from our closest city cork 😁 they are both amazing actors proud of both
@@Marie-cw8vp wish he didn’t rape Ben and was just a good guy. I like his acting skills he’s a good actor

What a week of Eastenders.

@@spencerreid2086 Ben doesn't get off on preying on people. At least not in the way Lewis does. And that hasn't been Ben for a while.

In the case of a safe word, safe word means no. Just in case others need the reminder.
