One of the best games of it’s Era for sure
John Saunders was (and still is) one of my favorite play-by-play men. Merry Christmas, John. Rest in peace.
My daughter was 2 years old. I had to listen to game on radio. I can still hear Cawood Ledford shouting Brassow for the tip and Cats win. Just like it was yesterday💙Now my daughter has children of her own and Im a Mamaw. Now my grandsons are Wildcat fans too. One of the best last shots ever. Go big blue!
Cawood Ledford didn’t call this game.
@@MyCatIsNamedChubmuffinRalphHacker on the call.
@@MyCatIsNamedChubmuffinthat’s what I was gonna say lol. Cause his last game was the 92 Duke game.
Thank you. A nearly forgotten great game.
Best college game I've seen for guard play. Khakis Reeves & Damon Stoudamire
Khalid*
I was there in 1992
If only this was the way the 1997 National Championship turned out
I was 14 years old. . . (39 now). . I remember bawling my eyes out when Arizona beat us in 1997.
Great game. I remember watching it in a sportsbook in Vegas. There was a group of UK guys there who were all bragging and comparing how much money they bet on the game with UK -2. Once the game got going, they figured out pretty quick I was the only born & raised, die hard AZ guy in there. It got pretty heated and the smack was flying. 50 cent tall boy Bud Lights & our allegiances fueled us. lol So Khalid doesnt box out, Brasso tips in the game winner at the buzzer, and they ALL jumped in my face celebrating, talking shit. I was crushed & pissed but what could I say? The game was so good we forgot but then it dawned on me and I rained on their parade. "Congrats. You won the game. But this is Vegas. NONE of you covered. You ALL lost! AZ covered. I won. They're gonna pay me with your money. Thanks and Bear Down!" Best mic drop I ever had. lol lol
As a UK fan I wouldn’t give a shit if I bet 100 grand as long as they won I would have been happy. You won a bet I’ll leave with the real win and happily lose the cash! Any actual fan would have told you the exact same. Lol
I am so glad to see a Shepard wearing number 15 playing for Ky in 2023!!!
RIP John Saunders
Coach running on the court and then remembering he had to be classy and shake the AZ coach's hand... Great times for big BLUE!
Never forget me my Dad and Uncle all coming up off the couch when Brassow tipped it in, and scared my Mom, Aunt to death in the next room lol
And when all was said and done, Arizona wasn't unbeaten anymore. Brassow, Brassow, Brassow!
What a game!!! GO BIG BLUE!!!!
The refs called a bunch of ticky-tack fouls, but goddamn was this a good game.
Really? Do you seriously have to use God's name like that? Please edit and use "gosh dang" or something other. . . . God's last name isn't DAMN
@@jamedlock83 Lololol. What a tool.

Way to rep the 606 every who you are. #BBN
what an ending
+james collins what a game too, a classic. I thought for a sec incidentally Arizona had time left, as the clock wasn't seen on the play itself at the end, but yeah great stuff.
That last foul was called on Brasso...not even in the play ...that was Rhodes...after the ball actually caught that rim and they called that wrong after replay
44:25 👋 😂
Hey Cozz can you upload a video for me?
Our season, as a whole, was a major bust that year
Dude didn't block out
lol @ the "foul" they called on Rhodes
how Khalid ain't go pro is beyond me.
He did. Was drafted by Miami 12th overall in '94. Played six years in the league but never panned out.
Too small for a shooting guard. He would be perfect in today’s game.
He had a lot knee injuries when he was in the NBA.

That ball did graze the rim.
Block out
Stoudamire was hella quick w,/ the ball. Reeves hit 3 of those free throws they win (HELLABEATSLLC)
