I must say I agree. Cal was masterful with his rotations yesterday. He got major contributions from both centers off the bench. And even got some spark out of Wagner for the first time in a while.
@@teddystyseh reed still gets starter minutes so oh well, I kinda want cal to bring him off the bench the rest of the season to stay motivated and maybe hopefully get him to stay another year lol. But I doubt he will, they have him as a top 10-15 pick in most mock drafts

That was a great ending! Both teams made shots and big plays. Kentucky had 3 points in the first 6 minutes and still finished with 91. Their offensive efficiency is crazy at times.
Cant lie the mississippi state coach was in his bag, they had a great gameplan and great shot selection

Kentucky took Mississippi State best shot and still battles back to win. They were down 52-39 to start the second half and came back and took almost a 10 pt lead. If that doesn't tell you this team is growing on defense then idk what does.
The crowd environment too. We were 8 for 8 from the free throw line in the last minute in probably the most nerve wracking circumstances you can have outside a tournament. So proud of their toughness

The greatest college team in modern times was the 15-16 UK team that went 38-0.. That season, the ONLY weakness seemed to be the twins in the backcourt. UK best two guards were two freshmen named Booker/Ulis.. Had CAL played them, he finishes the dream season.

As good as Reed Shepherd is that’s the 3rd time he’s had a complete mental meltdown late in a game. First against Florida on the road, then against Gonzaga at home, and yesterday he threw that ball away for some reason. He needs to be better in that sense.
