Quirky GUIs aside, PSP is coming out with some simply excellent plugins and I am always happy to give them my money to have them...
True dat…kings of analogue sounding software 👍
Yes!!
Hi guys and greetings from the states. I don't remember the Binson box, but I did have a Maestro Echoplex tape echo although it didn't use a valve in it it's preamp stage. It's getting increasingly difficult these days to sort the landslide of saturation/distortion plugins that have appeared. I suggest a longer form video on the various offerings and the kind of circuits that they emulate (Class A, AB, triodes, pentodes, etc.) to help folks understand why/how to best use these tools. Or not! I do get a chuckle seeing all the various audio channels dumping their SM7's for the Austrian Audio Mics. Perhaps we can all get a deal on a used SM7 now! 🙂 Anyway, keep up the good work and let us know when you're in deep shit!
Great comment 👍 We’ll do a long form on saturation soon 🤘
BLN could be “blend”, but “balance” works too :)
I thought that too 😂
You guys know that the particular "pencil" sound you're using... at that fairly high volume, can have a bit of a finger nails scraping the chalkboard... kind of effect? I have to reduce the volume..... Something to consider, maybe? 🥂
wasn't really excited by this one. a one trick pony basically and a small mix control is not convenient. it's important for me to get the sound i need fast and small controls do not help. i'll pass on this and i agree with you on their saturator plugin. it is great
How is this in any way a review? The first half of the video is wasted time watching you two giggle and the second half is you making various (uninteresting) observations with plenty of speculation about the gui. At best this is surface level overview. Why not actually demonstrate this tool in action instead of generally boring read of the user manual?
Thanks for taking the time to leave some feedback, amigo.
