Great video. Thank you. I have one of these apart right now. I can not figure out how it goes back together.. Can you please make a video on taking apart and reassemble of the entire weed eater. I can't get the clam shells to go together and my throttle is stiff. Thank you in advance. Bob
Just don’t bother trying to buy a half price, chinese coil off of eBay. I bought 3 from different sellers and none of them work and I had to return them. I sucked it up and went to the Stihl dealer and was up and running immediately after install.
WHAT THE HELL WAS THIS SUPPOSED TO BE ? - You didn't show the fault - You didn't show how to test for a spark Before taking off the coil - YOU JUST SHOWED HOW TO REPLACE THE COIL - Then didn't even bother to show that it was fixed and fired up. For all we know it's still broken and didn't do jack shit
what kind of fool does this small work with a screw gun.. good way to mess up the screw threads as well as you dont know how tight the screws are.. a butcher at best.

new fuel & air filter, new carburetor, new spark plug, new ignition coil & stihl 55r trimmer still wont work, any ideas?

It’s exactly the same as the fs45
Do you have a replacement coil number for the FS55R. (4140 1307A)
this coil will produce spark at wrong time and wont start, i manage to move flywheel and get start and run good

This coil seems to be a weak spot,there are many many videos on replacing it.
