- A wonderful interview with Ann and Nancy Wilson right after the Bebe Le Strange Tour. We get sneak peeks at songs from 'Private Audition' like 'Perfect Stranger' and 'One Word'. Nancy's dogs are adorable in this! Ann is also high as a kite but this is overall really insightful and fun!
Loved hearing from Nancy too in this interview! What an amazing guitarist! Underrated!!!
So enchanting here, very powerful- a good witch, but you better stay on her good side.
Yawn, no one is underrated...what a mediocre thing to write.
I STILL have all their LPs. A few CDs from decades ago that were for the car. But Sue Ennis helped make HEART❤ being an amazing songwriter from Seattle, Washington. She has co-written over 80 songs with Ann and Nancy.
Dog & Butterfly is probably my favorite song by Heart ❤. On their 4th album. Makes me always think of when I was living in Marin county in California.
“Don’t take the brown acid!” LOLOLOL #legend
Nancy Wilson is stunningly Beautiful
Ann Wilson is gorgeous as well.
Nancy is soft spoken until now but she's rocker!
They are crazy talented and beautiful
Never tire of watching this interview. Beautiful all around. 💜
Seeing them live tonight! Can't wait!!!
Great interview. ❤
Thank you. This interview is so revealing of their talent, their urge to create music.
Great interview !!
🎤🎸🎵🎹🥁
Nancy..they call me guitar! 🤣
Che bella Ann Wilson ❤
Love this ❤
Great interview 🎤
For me it's notable how ann talks about how you get isolated being a major Rockstar when my impression of a rockstar around 1980 was someone that knew thousands and thousands of people that had thousands and thousands of friends that went to non-stop parties and had non-stop fun and unfortunately had non-stop sex was my impression at the time but most of that was an impression created by the The Rock media
Q hermosas son y muuuuy talentosas...x siempre Heart
Ann Wilson ❤❤❤
The park you were in, Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill, Seattle, and about that time, I have been there with Nancy. So long ago hard to remember, but I do remember this - I am exactly 6 months and 6 days older than her - I remember when we figured that out - at a Sambo's or Denny's??? on Aurora Ave North?
6:10 Dios Ann luce INCREIBLEMENTE HERMOSA!!
I`ve been looking for this interview for years! Thank you for share this!
late bloomer :) researching internet info on Nancy without feeling too creepy :) and viewing the interviews has assured me I do have good taste no question about it, a true crowd pleaser. you can be assured my pursuit of happiness ( infatuation) has me feeling from my desk chair "HEART" has embodied my spirit. my body language is back in tune and ready to fill that pond when you are ! we could swim in Mekhong . ya ok it is time for my happy ending LUV U back then and now ROCK ON
Ann said she could tell that the new generation coming up is a lot more apathetic, they watch more TV.. She's referring to the upcoming Gen X, which we now label as the latchkey apathetic generation. She had the pulse. Also, Nancy is a sweetheart, love her so much!
This is a 1980 interview. Gen X wasn't even a concept. LOL.
@@cannonball666 That's my whole point smart guy. Also nice self-upvote. lol
I can never understand why certain elements from the music that my generation loved (melody, harmony, intricate instrumentation are just three) are noticeably missing in most music from 1990 onwards. I've been in places where that new music is playing and it seems really dull. Lifeless in its lack of creative depth. But these younger people seem clueless about the before and after.
❤ me some Heart. Seen y'all 4 or 5 times in Nashville Tenn. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Awesome interview, a few different questions 😀 👍
Beautiful
Yikes a major! Impressive! Marine Corp! Double impressive! My father in law was an officer in the navy?
Cool to hear the sneak peaks behind Perfect Stranger and One Word. I absolutely LOVE One Word.
HEART rocks
Wow . Very cool.
The interviewer was practically cuddling with her in the beginning.
Sería interesante ver una película biopic representando a Ann Ana de armas y a Nancy Margot Robbie Olivia Wilde
8:10 this would end up on their 1982 album. the song perfect stranger
What is the tune Nancy is playing on the piano? It’s mesmerizing to me.
Nancy was so fine. Sad the years have definitely taken a hard toll on her. I was fortunate in seeing Heart in a private 45 minute show, early '90s. It was great, they played and attendees could just walk right up to the stage and watch. No pushing or shoving.
It was a super chill meet 'n greet. Yes, I have photo with my arms around Ann on one side and Nancy other. I didn't even think to ask for an autograph. Super cool seeing them live, very successful at the time, playing lose, small club style audience interaction/banter. I'm no photographer but I managed to get some great shots. Half a lifetime ago - time flies!
@@melodybell-lf3oi Serious? Yes, yes I am. She's almost 70 and unfortunately has lost her sex appeal and physical attractiveness, in my opinion. Doesn't mean I don't like her, I absolutely do. Reality steps in. People get old and 50+ years of traveling can speed up the process. It is what it is.
since the early 1990s 30 years ago how much of a toll has time taken on you?
These interviews from 35 to 40 years ago prove what heart was really like and how they were thinking instead of listening to this bull about how Ann didn't like the 80s and all this other stuff that is more or less fake history about heart
I totally agree with you. I’ve been a Heart fan since about 1976. ❤
@Exotic3000 I just saw Ann and her band literally 6 hours ago everything was going great during the show until she did covers by Queen Led Zeppelin and David bowie.. the momentum never recovered..
Yep
3:50 really cool outfit on ann
Hey, if you want any Heart footage cleaned or upscaled I'd love to work on it, just send me the footage, it could even be an interview
Hey thanks!! Would love that! Got a bunch of stuff I could send you. Want me to wetransfer it or something?
@@Kaleidoscopia yes, wetransfer is great
do it so we can see
what is the date this was filmed in 1980? foggy so not june to oct in seattle looks more like december or january.
"rather than a "BLAH" decade it was a consolidation of the ideas that *could* work"
God I've never laughed at hippies more than hearing that line
especially after hearing the whole lsd in the water plan. lmfao
the wilson sisters tho. they were ahead of their times.
Ann looks high
Looks and sounds it too!
I really really miss 1970s Heart ❤️ I love Nancy so much but I hate that Roger had to leave the band 😢
That wasn't really Nancy's fault. It was his own mistake.
From 5:00, Ann is absolutely wasted.
She's 'luded out big-time
That's what I was thinking.
What does that mean?
And you've never been wasted so you're here to judge? OK, sure
nancy and ann are about 25-26 years old and 29-30 years old respectively yet they are so far developed as people and as music artists and singers. now we have 40 year olds considered young making infantile noises that is passed off as music
Ann has definitely recreated with psychedelics
And you think Nancy hasn't? LOL. 1970's it was the thing. Also, they are from WA, mushroom capital of the US. Heart's first record label was Mushroom Records. But Heart didn't play psychedelic music thank goodness.
Cannabis. Cocaïne, mushroom was just normal back then. They just survived it very well.
@@cannonball666listen to the song strange Euphoria from the 1980 Greatest Hits live album the song itself will make you feel like you're on drugs
"Tripsitter" is/was actually the term used for the designated person who hung around while the people in their group were 'tripping' on hallucinogens. Jus' sayin' .. 🕊
@@cannonball666 Ann seems like she was coming off a trip the night before lol. I’m sure they both had their fun.
8:00 what song is it?
Perfect Stranger.
Iam a dog and butterfiy guy
Semper Fi, 72-76
アンよりナンシー
I would consider the piano an elephant. A very sexual elephant
Pardon but who was the idiot that closed the door?
