That pink material doesn't look like it's been cut using the same pattern piece you show as there is fullness in the middle that you wouldn't get using the paper pattern you made and the bell on the first pattern piece would be straight down on one side and not flared out.

Cut on fold = you cut where it was folded as it’s still folded.. cut 2 pieces = 2 pieces of the same pattern
