- In this video we spend the day with Sinedu as she commutes from Harlem to Bunna Café in Bushwick. She moved to NYC from Ethiopia, but remains dedicated to Ethiopian Orthodox Christianity, a religion in which fasting, and eating vegan, are taken directly from the Bible.

I love her comment about having people open up to her: "makes me more human" 🙏🏼
She is one of the most beautiful people I have ever met! So lucky to have worked with her and the bunna team. Thanks for watching xoxox
I am also an Orthodox Christian. One thing I really like is that our strict fasting periods have us being vegan, even when I so often fail. I always feel more healthy when I’m observing it properly from a food perspective! I enjoyed her specifically Ethiopian/New York views on life and food.
currently bingewatching everything... again
you two are awe inspiring
Jamie this comment is just everything :) :) so happy when someone connects to our voice! -Dana
Dear Sinidu, I love your wisdom and everything about you. I'm much more older than you and i observe all the seven fasting seasons. Everyone makes fun out of me including my kids. Even though I love meat, cheese and fish; I'm the happiest and the healthiest during fasting. FYI there are 250 fasting days out of the 365 calendar year.
Thanks so much for the beautiful comment! Hopefully she will come back and see this sometime ; ) ---Lou
wow, thats a lot of fasting, in my tradition we have "Hamari" it starts on May 8th and continues until its over, hard to explain that one but the longest I have ever gone was 11 days...
Beautiful smile
Your binge watch playlist is genius, and I’m loving every second of your videos! What you capture is incredible and inspiring, for real.
