“OiM kEvEa”
“OiM mArRiEd”
I’m dying 😂
Máiréad is actually the name of two former members of Celtic Woman
@@kps2420 It's Irish for Margaret
“If you like Riverdance but wish they could move their arms” 😂 the violinist Máiréad Nesbitt toured with Lord of the Dance
I couldn't stop laughing. what an amazing parady. Perfection. Beautifully replicated. and I love the Celtic Women.
@2:48 "Take your grandma and watch the popular girls from your highschool get absolutley railed by the idea of Ireland". 😃😂
I actually saw Celtic Woman in concert years ago with my mom and Nana and this is spot on HILARIOUS! 🤣🤣
I love that the audience had a lot of fun with this sketch.
me too but at that point the audience would have loved anything after finally being able to go to a performance with 100% capacity
I think they pump laughing gas into the studio so the audience laughs like crazy.
I spent a decade working for PBS. This is hilarious!!!
I gave up on how many times I have watched this video each time is just more and more ridiculous 😂 oh and I died when sweet home Alabama came on 😂😂😂😂
The sweet home Alabama song because they know how to get an audience from Ohio
yeah that one got me
As someone who’s been stuck in Ohio most of my life, what is it with modern Ohioans thinking they’re “country” or “southern” I hate it
@Benj Smith Productions Burn!!! Lol
I suppose it's better than singing "Ohio" by Crosby, Stills & Nash.
@@AmandaFromWisconsin they save that one for when they perform in Bama
I was not prepared for the look Kate gave the camera while licking her lip. She looks so good in this and I'm so gay. And the "I'm Fifafif" took me tf out lmaooo
None of this gay stuff here I'm Irish - just kidding!
All of them look so good and I'm so, well as you can see from my pfp, bi 😂 if these women are actually leaving snl I'm gonna die
It reminded me of the morning announcements sketch where she played a girl who just had her braces removed so she kept licking her teeth.
😍
Kates cuteness is like ⭕️ negative blood… she does it for everyone❣️
She is, too.
I love her. She's amazing.
I'm a straight woman and even I felt it. If I were a lesbian, that would have floored me!
The “Celtic Women” performing in front of a castle in southern France. Don’t know if it was intentional, but funny.
This was hilarious because I totally did go through a “Celtic” music phase in college.
Who didn't? 🤣
I’m still at college and I’m loving Celtic women ❤
“Sweet Home Alabama” 😄😄
😭😭😭😭😭
The way Chris Redd always does that eye-widening thing gets me every time
I’m a huge CW fan. I’ve seen them twice. This KILLED me and the ladies of CW are getting a huge kick out of it too! Some craic!
For a second I thought you were talking about The CW Network when you wrote that. After which I was thinking "Hugh?".
i'm a big celtic woman fan & i come back to this video about once every six months. thank u celtic woman for letting all us midwestern irish americans get absolutely RAILED by the idea of ireland
Soooooooo I had to learn a song by Celtic Women to play at a church, a comment on the video asked “Who came here after the SNL skit?” I saw so many people who came to that video so I had to back track and come here……MY GOD this is hilarious!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
When they started singing Sweet Home Alabama OMG I’M DEAD 🤣🤣🤣🙌🙌🙌
This could be a casually recurring skit and I wouldn’t be mad. Too funny 😄
Yes like the seasons greetings skits with Tarzan, Tonto, and Frankenstein's monster as Christmas carolers.
This was classic 70’s SNL. TOTALLY hillarious and low brow. I still have not recovered from “I will sit on that bagpipe and blowwww. I will ride that bag pipe, all the way hommmme”.
Except it was 30 years later.
I’m not sure how many PBS Celtic Woman fans who are also SNL fans there are. I’m not sure people who don’t know Celtic Woman would’ve got why this is so funny, but as a Celtic Woman fan, I loved it!!! And if you disagree there’s more overlap than I thought, good on ya!
...”and I’ll ride that bagpipe home..” 🤣🍀🎶
"The Lion King for Karens!" lmao...yet, I STILL want to go.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Same!!🤣🤣
'Karen' is a racist and sexist and ageist term.
Hi! I translating this sketch and I need help, as I don't get the joke... could u please give me a hand and explain it to me? Thanks in advance!
Kate: “And I’m Fehferfev” what the??? 😄
I thought she said...flava flav! Rotflmao
@@glennawhiteman742 same!
I looked it up, it's most likely an Irish flower spelled as "feverfew" LOLOL
@@e2theeyepie well! Who knew! Lmao
I think they were making fun of the name Aoife, pronounced "ee-fa" lol, super common irish girl's name
Anya Taylor Joy is just so beautiful. I’d love to see her hosting again 😍
“Genuinely the most fun I’ve ever had in my life! I don’t know what that says about me, but it’s true...” 😂😂😂🥰🥰🥰
My family and I have absolutely loved Celtic Woman since they began, and this skit is amazing! Their debut, Christmas Celebration, Solo Works, and New Journey albums (released from 2005 to 2007) are a huge part of the soundtrack of my nostalgic early childhood. They were also my first ever concert. I was 4 years old and it was at Red Rocks (around 2006/07). I cried during intermission because I thought it was over and my dad had to tell me that "the ladies are just eating and going potty but they'll start singing again in a few minutes."
I absolutely love how you can hear Cecily's voice over everyone else's. This woman could melt me with a glance IRL 😍
Same I love when she sings
She's put on a lot of weight over the last few years.
@@mitchyoung93 the fuck that got to do with what I said?
Being a huge fan of their music, I really enjoy the sketch. Also the girls from celtic woman enjoyed this video, ad they are reposting on their social media
The best part is when they started singing Sweet Home Alabama. I absolutely died when that happened.
1:19 I love Aidy's accent, she sounds like a leprechaun from Newfoundland.
This has to be one of my favorite snl skits! 😂 they hit the nail on the head with this one! Also Cecily breaking character is actually hilarious cause it never happens! 😂
This was a lovely bit that warmed the cockles of my heart. Kisses from Ireland.
As an Irish person this is SO accurate as to how most of the world especially America sees us 😂
It's the group they're poking fun at, not Irish people.
Depends on the American.
Sorry to tell you this, but there's more than double the number of Irish in America then there are in Ireland. So who's copying who now. :)
@@joelwillems4081 I agree but most of the non Irish Americans think this way 😂
