I got out there and cherry picked for about 8 hours. Ended up with $374 doing Lyft only since my car is locked to that platform. I had no challenges, so mostly accounted for surges, bonus hour, and turbo. Uber definitely fared better surge wise. The surges were very low on Lyft while Uber constantly going for x2-x3 the amount. It wasn't until 5-6pm that Lyft surges kicked up seeing as high as 20-25. Last year I did Uber only and made just over 500 in the same time.
1.4k for 16 hr+ driving Lyft/uber in chicago with Model Y . There's dyeing of the river green and parade. Was crazy, only made 800 last year but this year crazy good.
Is it worth signing up for these challenges? Seems to me that even though the pay more with the bonus they also pay less per ride. What happens if you do not accept challenge and just cherry 🍒 pick?
@@J__7777 midweek is consistently above $25 hr otherwise it wouldn’t be worth my time. Weekends have been north of $30 hr for a bit. If Uber says you can make X hr this weekend you should be able to do that easily.
His mechanic told him it wasn't worth fixing the transmission for $3500. And that his 2018 Corolla was only worth $2K lol Pretty sure the mechanic wanted his car. It was better to fix it than buying another vehicle...absurd
$30hr on average but now do you deductions which I’m guessing is around $14hr operating cost so you made $16 an hour real pay. Now what 99% of drivers fail to include is vehicle replacement so now you broke even and the reality is you’ll never be profitable.
Yeah. That's why it's important to know your market. That $59 trip is from Boston to Worcester. Good trip if you're based in Worcester and you're returning to your base. Not good if your base is Boston 'cause you probably won't get a trip back from Worcester to Boston. And Worcester fares are extremely low compared to other cities/towns. I wouldn't take that one either. That's a looooooooong ride!!!!
@Ricardo You sound like a rookie. How does a $59 offer for a 4 hour roundtrip sounds good to you? Are you on a electric bike doing rides? That's less than $15/hr BEFORE expenses. So more like $9/hour. Only makes sense if you lived towards the destination or already going there.
The sheer volume of pings is incredible... I live in western CT & its very difficult to get by driving either Uber or Lyft due to the LACK of volume. Good for you to be able to turn away so many CRAP Rides! :).
My favorite rideshare UA-camr. Great video. Take care!
This guy is crazy he is making a video rejecting all those good rides this guys is funny 😅😅

Somehow I love watching you decline all those requests 😊
yeah, I'm also bcz of his accent. 😂
Good morning Boston Guy ❤
Yeah they don't listen to me either with the Uber survey

Good boss ❤🎉❤ i am also doing crazy Uber 😂😂😂
$279 in 7.5 hours on St Patrick’s day in Boston. Didn’t chase the surge or go to Southie once.
What you average an hour on weekdays Monday to Thursday? Minimum $25/hr gross?
Is the weekends always above $30/hr in daytime?

Aren't the surges on Uber better though? Lyft giving more bonuses which is nice for daily but for events, most people are looking for Uber.
What is your acceptance rate
Uber-Boston guy never interacts with his subscribers yet they still come back again and again with comments like "favorite rideshare UA-camr."
Please make Uber video as well
He canceled a bunch.they would be threatening to deactivate me in my area.
Hey Uber guy do you change your car?
His mechanic told him it wasn't worth fixing the transmission for $3500.
And that his 2018 Corolla was only worth $2K lol
Pretty sure the mechanic wanted his car.

(It's in a previous video)
Hey Boston guy come & work in nyc 😅
Are you also doing Uber in New York ?
I average 100 a day

You take your cars to the dealership to change you blinker fluid? 😅
Declining a 59 dollars ride 😂

Some kids just see total fare and not think of other variables

Uber share sucks

There was a New Haven driver not too long ago on Ronnie Spe's channel who made $2K in a week.
