I've been really looking forward to one day testing a portable power station for all of the different needs I have, and am stoked with how long it can run my PC for!
I learnt new things about solar plugs, and hopefully you learnt something new, at least how to get a rough estimate of the size battery you'd need for your devices.
Catch ya in the next vid once I'm back from shredding a mountain somewhere with this beast of a battery 🤙
What the heck, why am I watching an 18 minute ad for a thing I ALREADY OWN.
Haha I can see you've got a 4x4 in your profile pic, do you have an alternator charger?
I'm considering adding one to our SUV so it can be quickly topped up on trips if needed.
The new ad format i would spend the whole day on
@@camshand Not yet. It wasn't available when I got my Delta Max. I got two extra batteries (mostly for home backup, my Jeep isn't that spacious inside) and a 400W foldable panel for camping. I'm mostly using and charging the Delta while camping and I camp for a week in one spot mostly so alternator charging wouldn't do a whole lot. Maybe if I was moving each day it would be a better fit. Also, my setup saved my butt more than once when I had power outages so kudos to Ecoflow for making great power solutions. The Blade lawnmower was on the other hand a complete failure and I returned it.
you are my favourite tech youtuber right now tbh
Yes this is an ad, but a very honest and insightful play on it. Good job Cam!
also love the Z
Honestly would have made the exact same video if/when I'd bought one 🤙 Which is how I approach all dedicated sponsored videos, simply do the tests that I want to know the answers too .
Truly shocked how long it can run my PC for though, I was expecting maybe 1 hour max but the math checks out.
@@camshand ive always considered these smart batteries and like you said for 3d printing and pcs its perfect!
I was looking at your cable management video, and ended up watching the diy table playlist and the custom pc build...cant wait to plan and build my own table!
Stoked to hear you're inspired by the custom build to make your own.
You can get the files form my website that I used to make it.
Otherwise, find whatever materials work for you and have fun!
I love every video you make, only now got around to sub but excited each time i watch your vids, started with the custom desk video
glad to hear you enjoy my videos! thank you for watching 🤙
Imma write something here so no five year old does not think hes first😭
Sniped 'em 🤣
Keep it going soldier, you're making strides
That is genius
I really love the flexibility, so many different ways I can use it when at home 🤙
Hey Cam I'm tryna revamp my setup and make it look way better and be more functional while still having fun. Can you give some tips and tricks, also what you think is a must have and is game changing. I want to make it very high tech and not too cluttered but still have good taste.
Thanks cam I love the content pls keep it coming!!!❤❤❤
yeah, a video about how he plans his builds and makes decisions would be neat
@yehudahakhamzadeh5097 - In general I'd say a macro pad or something like the stream deck adds a lot of functionality with quickly launching programs, changing songs and volume levels.
A small second screen is handy, too big and it can be a distraction, but small it can be useful for productivity like calendar & lists. But even something like a little whiteboard can give that functionality.
USB Hub is a must if your PC is out of arm reach, can really tidy up cables and make plugging devices in easier.
As for looks, try to match colours, I've gone white and silver as my base. Blue is the primary, and Orange is the secondary. This naturally evolved but it helps everything blend visually.
A monitor riser/shelf with the teach tucked underneath can look clean and neat without having to rehouse like I have in a dashboard. You can also mount tech under your desktop like I showed in my latest cable management video.
You've got the right attitude which is what matters most, and that's having fun with it!
@insinYT - I have something in the works regarding this, plan is to launch before the end of the year 🤙
Hey! I really enjoy working on projects like macropads and creating my own stuff, but my budget is a bit tighter than yours. Do you think getting a digital notebook would be a good idea? If so, could you recommend a good option that’s budget-friendly? Thanks!
A real old Samsung tablet with a knock off s pen has worked well for me and it's cheaper than a digital notebook like remarkable and has more capabilities beyond note taking and drawing.
No, there are better things to invest in if your budget is tight.
I love my supernote and use it everyday. But you can get enough books for a couple years at the same cost as just the pen.
As suggested below, a cheap android tablet with pen input gives more functionality, even second hand.
My need for the supernote is the digital benifits without distraction but pen and paper is always very useful.
I'd put money towards the tools and materials you need to remove friction in your creation process. Like digital calipers, soldering iron, whatever you need for your projects.
@@camshand hey! thanks for the reply! i think i'm indeed going to buy a few books and will upgrade my tools and workbench.
thank you so much for the reply again!
So say I got this charger for my a1 mini that I take with me to vendor fairs the charger should at least last 6ish hours I hope I'm understanding that correctly
Bro is redefining what it means to be a power user 😭😭😭
Apologies in advance. This is not a criticism, I just need to say it to satisfy my tism or address my trypophobia.
Please can your run along all the edges of your speaker stands with a deburring tool or some sand paper? In a few shots you can see it isn't smooth, and it makes my skin crawl.
Haha yeah they have overhangs sagging in a lot of places! full get it man.
For my original pair in PLA Flex I melted and smoothed everything, spent a few hours doing it.
But when I had to redo them in TPU I learnt it's not as easy to cleanup so I just got rid of the really bad parts, and plan to re-print on a better printer so I can have a better starting point for cleanup.
Very much a function over form on the finishing quality for now
@@camshand Reasonable, thank you. I have downloaded the STL from the original video, and will humble myself this weeked 🤣
