Hi Carson I found our monthly security updates failed to install on all my servers. Looking at my WUAHandler log file there was failure message. OnSearchComplete - Failed to end search job. Error = 0x80240440. Scan failed with error = 0x80240440. Any advise is greatly appreciated. Thanks
Yes you can force patches on domain. Controller as long they have sccm client installed. You can deploy bios update as a regular package or using third party patching solutions

Hi , I have issues with SUP and WSUS. SUP sync status has been showing error and Whenever i open WSUS console, it tries loading but fails with connection error and after i reset the server node it reloads but fails again. On wcm log i see the following error : setting subscription failed: server is currently busy synchronizing updates. and on wsychmgr.log : sync failed wsus server not configured. please refer to wcm.log for configuration error details
@@CarsonCloud i reinstalled SUP and WSUS and then the sync started from the beginning. wsus had some issues i guess.. the maintenance task had not been run for the catalogs... could you suggest how to run maintenance task on WSUS? or please create a tutorial video for the same . Thanks
@@hrishipradhananga4630no need to run maintenance task at the beginning... if you open up WSUS console does it work? look in WSYNC.log what is the error? there could be a few errors during the initial sync.
@@CarsonCloud the initial sync ran successfully, took almost 24 hrs to complete, almost 62000 items were syncing at the inital sync.. how can i maintain my WSUS ? is there a method to clean up my WSUS?

Yes you can force patches on domain. Controller as long they have sccm client installed. You can deploy bios update as a regular package or using third party patching solutions
I did not get any software updates after synchronisation... It's shows empty all software updates.

When i am sync with microsoft catlog my windows update service will stop automatically and secondry site sync getting failed because of this issue
