Any advice from you would be highly appreciated
Hi Ruchir, 2 of the most important log files for updates installation success is: UpdatesDeployment.log - which shows initializing, downloading and installing status. wuahandler.log - Sweet and short precise log file just showing installation status, I think this could be the one you can focus more.

Updatesdeployment.log is only meant for updates downloading,installing process. For application check appenforce.log which i will try like a master log file for Apps installation.

Check locationservices.log to see list of DP's are there. Check ContentTransferManager.log as well if it should CTM job suspended, if thats the case, content is not available (either not on DP or incorrect Boundary for that specific device)

Hi Siva, if updates are missing from updatesstore.log (i mean to say if no i formation is available for that specific update), then it means that specific update is not applicable for this device. This can further be checked through unbuilt SCCM reports. You provided a good advice, I think this specific topic requires a separate video. I will come up with another video in this. If we deploy superseeded updates how client work with those patches .. Client will get installed or skip for latest one... This scenario always comes in case updates are missing and customer wants to deploy all missing updates...
There is no harm deploying superseded updates, they are still valid updates. There is a valid reason to deploy superseded updates such as organization not deploying/ delaying superseding updates. If we target suoerseded and suoerseding updates (both) and if latest one gets installed first, then superseded update will automatically be marked as installed.
Means that if we deploy superseeded & latest one both updates will be show in software center & system installed latest one and mark relative superseeded updates as installed.... I am getting issue while deplying superseeded updates are not showing in software center but latest one showing.... So I am trying to figure out why system is not scaning superseeded updates... Please advice
I think if that the case, superseded update not shown, and latest one shown. That also looks perfectly good bcz both the updates are targeted and internal detection logic for patch knows new one is there hence not showing superseded ones. Once u install latest update, updatesstore.log and sccm report both will show superseded update as installed
Your videos are very helpful.Keep the good work .. we have deployed windows 10 22H2 feature update enablement package to all devices..we have one strange issues in few devices 1.feature update enablement package (KB5015684) installed on the device but it is not upgrading the OS build version from 20H2 to 22H2 Could you please give some suggestions to fix this issue
Please check sccm report for specific update required for a device. It seems like prerequisite is not met for the device to offer the update. There is a specific patch installed on the device to receive enablement package.
Client inactive means device is not communicating with sccm. There could be several reasons such as Device not online, sccm client health issue, not registering back to MP due to boundary changes etc

Every month I'm getting same issue on multiple machines like missing updates 0x87D00668 failed to install updates ( Google Chrome update and visual studio etc.) I tried to clear the CCMcache and rename software distribution folder and rename catroot2 folder. re initiate the cycles and restart the services. Their is no client issue no space issue .but ReportingEvents.log shows * Agent installing succeeded*. But no luck Could you please create a video for this issue it will very helpful for us. This error is related to you IIS server where MP, DP and SUP are configured. These error codes are pretty generic, you need to check iis logs under inetpub directory to get more details
