I could listen to her speak all day every day. She has such a beautiful voice and really paints a picture with her words. I would love it if she would do an audio book of her life! Ahhh! Heaven! :) She tells the story of Marlon Brando in another interview and it's so cool! He picked her up and took her to the desert to see the wildflowers. They also would speak on the phone for hours, and he really was quite taken with her. I love hearing about her interests too, particularly her love of design and structure. And old barns! And her advocacy work. She is incredibly passionate with whatever she touches and is quite inspiring to hear her speak! :)
Brando was a great actor, but he was a messed up person. That's probably what made him even more alluring. A lot of the really great entertainers are cra-cra. Streisand seems to have dodged a lot of craziness, but we'll probably hear more about her later. She's in a 20 year marriage with James Brolin and it seems to be doing well. That's unusual in Hollywood with a superstar like Barbara Streisand.

In an interview with Piers Morgan she states Marlon once invited her to go to Joshua Tree and camp in the desert overnight. She passed up this chance to be with her biggest crush because "I was a nice Jewish girl." This doesn't make sense--sounds like she's not telling the truth.

Barbra is very brave to show herself, wrinkles and all. She's not "pretty" and for those that say she is a witch - perhaps you are correct. She has always had the ability to mesmerize with her charisma and talent, despite her looks - certainly a powerful form of witchcraft, wouldn't you agree?

I hope Barbra will continue to be more open with us and talk more. She has always held back so much. I've always gotten the feeling she does not have much respect for her fans. Unlike a Liza, or Judy, or other icons of her day, whom no matter how sick they were of singing "New York, New York" or "Somewhere Over The Rainbow", they sang it because their fans wanted it so badly. Barbra was never that giving or respectful of the people who made her what she is. There is so much your fans want to know Barbra. At this stage of your life, please share more with us.
