You made short work of that Array. I think Fateful Lasers was the real MVP for that one, even more than the Titan.

I seen a few video's on this game but yours is the best hands down.
This engine/system/design is amazing. Imagine them reimplement it into a different setting. For fantasy, instead of Space Ships we could be different kind of Spellcasters (Wizards, Mages, Sorcerers, Witches, etc.) with fireballs instead of lasers, illusion spells instead of evades and mana instead of energy (we should buy stuff with mana and recharge our mana shields). Fighting different evil minions and interesting bosses.

Correct me if i am wrong - the fateful lasers work only with generic laser tokens (those Red ones).

I bought this game because of your video and am loving it. When I read the Fateful Lasers skill and compared it to the Photon lasers, I wasn't sure if those doubled because the skillsl says laser tokens and not something that counts as lasers. On the BGG forum, it looks like it was ruled that photon lasers is not doubled

10:23 If I remember correctly you can place Tokens in your hold between warps. So you could have used only 1 token to stun the shade.
14:30 You could have gained another level 2 token here
I do not think you can save tokens between warps unless I'm totally forgetting! Thanks for the strategy tip!

So that means you would have crushed the mothership even harder. :)

Wow. Watched the other one, then this. Looks like some really dandy puzzly action for my night shifts (so far set a watch is a favorite). Was afraid it'd be too easy after this one, but sounds like it can be quite hard, depending on the combination.
Thanks for watching! I will say that it's like a puzzle, and some puzzle's are easier than others. So some ship and mothership combinations (like this one) are easier than other combinations. For example I have yet to beat this mothership with the other expansion ship! To me that is awesome as it gives me tons of replay for all the ships and mothership combinations!
9:25 not sure if the Photon bast would count as 4 lasers RAW, since the skill basically doubles laser TOKENS not value (that's how I played that skill btw).
10:25 I have trouble with the way it is written. normally when a stun doesn't block a skill (on the boss or enemy cards) it says so and it doesn't in this case, however the enemy is still in play. I suppose you can play this either way. ( I normally play this as not blockable, but that's because sometimes I forget to read skill cards which always benefits me and makes the game easier so when I can take a pessimistic ruling I do it to hopefully balance out.)

15:07 It's hard to see the reward but I think it is a level 2 energy token and you put a level 1 in the bag.
15:56 a trick I do is you are allowed to feel inside the bag for number of tokens. Since you will draw three, it makes sense to buy a token with the energy you have before destroying guaranteeing you will draw it that turn.
19:00 another trick at the beginning of the warp is to assign all your tokens so that when you take shield damage no token gets destroyed. For instance, if you assigned the evade to a level 2, it'd still be out there instead of in the used pool, in which case you'd take one less damage and wouldn't have lost that token.
My game came with the Titan Model BC which requires an extra maneuver to evade. Yours is much better!

6:33 Forgot the effects of Owerwhelm? At least as I understood it you did 1 laser to everything else. Also at 20:39 but that time hardly mattered.
14:30 Could have used your ship's special ability to buy something since you took damage.

Quick question: I’ve been eyeing Warps Edge for a while now, but Under Falling Skies has made some buzz recently. I know they’re different games, but both solo space games. Which would you recommend? (How do they compare?).

I still haven't played under falling skies so I can't say. I will say I love the fact Warp's edge plays so quickly and has lots of great combinations. But overall I can't say as I haven't played the other game sorry!
@@OneStopCoopShop no problem; thanks for the reply! I think I like the idea of bag/deck building better anyway 😁. Dice allocation has been done so many times, ya know? But for some reason Under Falling Skies had gotten all the attention and accolades 🤷🏻♂️
They're way too different to compare. One is dice allocation, one is a bag builder. Both great games but it really comes down to what type of game you'd prefer. A comparison isnt practical.
So when drawing out of the bag, if you can only draw 3 tokens i can start a new round? or do I have to warp? Because the rule book says to start a warp on an empty bag...maybe im reading too much into it,RIP lmao

If you cannot draw to a full hand of 5 tokens then you MUST warp. You can't choose to keep playing with a reduced hand - Mike
