It took me back to when the twin towers fell. There was all this destruction and yet the Statue of Liberty was standing strong giving us all hope. They then found the flag that flew on top of the towers. It was a little worse for wear, but the firefighters proudly hung it at the site as a symbol of hope! 💖💖
"Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
Love this canvas. Watching I had tears in my eyes with Toby Keith’s voice in my head singing “and the Statue of Liberty started shaking her fist”. 🇺🇸
I LOVE that song! It really reminds me of this canvas too! I already miss TK!💖💖

Tell your son thank you for his service. I agree it would be awesome to gift someone who served. ❤🇺🇸🇺🇸

That canvas gave me goose pumps, I'm a New Yorker, and I'm definitely getting this one. It's just beautiful 😍 ❤

@@theprincipalpainter Yeah, I cried throughout the whole thing in shock. It was the saddest day in USA😭😭😭
Powerful!
I'm hoping it means that even though many are stomping on and disrespecting the American flag these days, in the end, liberty prevails.
Oh wow this wasn’t at all on my radar but after seeing it opened it will definitely be going on my wishlist. I love the specials placement!
This image speaks volumes.

I see a torn, shredded American flag
