List goes on - in my eyes that’s definitely worth a move from Everton to United
Rooney never declined,Mourinho's tactics just never worked on him and almost all united attackers, look at how Rooney is perfoming in front of goals at DC united
Rooney in the post Fergie era still managed to get 10+ goals season even when he was played more deep in midfield. Under Mourihno he just became a squad player but he should've played more. He atleast did something when he played assist or a goal. Rooney was play wide at times because of Jose tactics.
Personally I thought if he had chosen to play in midfield for manchester united he would have still been there up to now.... Unfortunately that choice was not his to make them moment I heard Jose say Rooney is forward and he can't see himself playing Rooney anywhere else I knew his time was up at utd Jose wanted him out, he knew he wasn't gonna play Rooney up front so essentially he's not gonna get any games..... But I really think if Rooney could have extended his time at utd if he had played midfield kinda liked giggs did in his latter years
Great player and I’m a huge fan but past it by his last 2 seasons at Man U regardless of position, was crazy what Everton were paying him in wages he was well past his best not that there’s anything wrong with that he had a great career
I read something very interesting a while back that said that Rooney was never as assertive as CR7. Rooney could have reached the levels of Cr7 but instead he was more of a team player and willing to play in midfield or wherever he was needed. Cr7 was always hungry to get goals and do what was better more so for himself

Wayne in my opinion is the greatest player Man utd have had since the 60s. I loved him as a player and he is so humble, some may think differently. When asked a question, Wayne always gives an honest straightforward without frills answer. There is a kind of boyishness in Wayne which may be mistaken for nievity, but he is shrewd and intelligent. If George Best who wasted his Man utd career can get a statue, then Wayne should certainly get one.

Left his "boyhood" club so he could win trophies, because he thinks Everton wasn't capable of winning any silverware (they managed to get to two FA Cup Semi finals and final without him)
Scores against Everton at Goodison and kisses the Man Utd badge in front of the Everton fans
Goes against the manager that brought him into Everton and got him recognised as a player (David Moyes)
Cheats on his wife (several times)
Kept threatening to leave Man Utd until he got £300k a week (which he finally got)
But yes, he should have been more selfish! The irony!
James O'Riley Everton managed to get to two semi finals and a final without Rooney, meanwhile Rooney won 1 Champs League, 1 Europa, 5 Prem Titles, 1 FA cup, 4 league cups, Player of the year 09/10 (prem) back to back Young player of the year 05 and 06. List goes on - in my eyes that’s definitely worth a move from Everton to United
plus the misery he was playing for England!
The guy seems very honest.
This channel is just Rooney now?
Not complaining
Rooney finished top goal scorer from a midfield position. Let that sink in. I know he had a few penalties but he was the one creating the chances
Rooney never declined,Mourinho's tactics just never worked on him and almost all united attackers, look at how Rooney is perfoming in front of goals at DC united
Come on, he's in a league where Bradley Wright-Phillips looks like a prime Romario
name one decent defender in the mls
@@Noisehead101 His free kick goal was insane though. It doesn't matter which league he was in for that free kick.
Rooney in the post Fergie era still managed to get 10+ goals season even when he was played more deep in midfield. Under Mourihno he just became a squad player but he should've played more. He atleast did something when he played assist or a goal. Rooney was play wide at times because of Jose tactics.
@@Dylan-er9bs its about how many times he has proven,
This guy is/was the last of the breed that played for the badge and with heart. He is the last of the SAF players. Mourinho killed his career.
1:37 how photoshopped is that image btw
Hated him at United, loved him at Everton, respected him everywhere.
I love Rooney but the way his head is slanted to the side when he speaks hurts my neck lol!
greatest player to ever grace the premier league
Should have been more selfish? What a bit like when he threatened to join City in order to get a pay rise?
He said more .Meaning he was just selfish but not very much
Personally I thought if he had chosen to play in midfield for manchester united he would have still been there up to now....
Most likely signed him just because he was their own product. A lot of teams do it as they have a connection with the fans
DisabledTurtle7 yeah I think your 100% right mate thinking with they’re hearts and not they’re heads
gotta love a bit of Wayne ERRRM rooney what a player
But how does any of this help Valentino Rossi win a Motogp championship ever again?...
I read something very interesting a while back that said that Rooney was never as assertive as CR7. Rooney could have reached the levels of Cr7 but instead he was more of a team player and willing to play in midfield or wherever he was needed. Cr7 was always hungry to get goals and do what was better more so for himself
It’s hard to think he was once better than Ronaldo at United, now look. An unfulfilled career.
Ay don’t feel sorry for him I’m sure he’s having a blast for the rest of is life
Tallin Cartwright unfulfilled career? all time top scorer for Man united and England won multiple Premier leagues and won a CL then add the fa cups and league cups on to that he’s had a great career and is still playing doing great in the MLS
Tbh. Ronaldo is probably the only player in history apart from Gary Neville, who absolutely fulfilled his potential.
Rangers 72 yes I’m disputing that he is one of the greatest to ever play in the premier league and for England but he could have done so much more.
Yeah he is the greatest but all he could have done to fix it was to be more selfish and play striker even at 29 30
Peak Rooney and Torres was my favorite time to watch EPL. 08-09
Ermm I had a wonderful time at Chelsea ermmm Sir Arsene Benitez was me role mode ermm
Yes Wayne because everyone greedy out there:-))
Smashing it at DC
