I grew up watching Bob on John Byner Comedy Hour and Bizarre. Always looking forward to the skits with Super Dave. Thank you for all the laughters, after all these years still missing you. RIP Bob.
He was an original! I love the fact that he was at the Caesars Palace jump when Robbie Knievel made that jump and greeted him on the landing ramp along with Evel.
I remember watching Dave the night this aired…. Super Dave Osborne, the Man, the Myth and without any doubt, the LEGEND! It’s still as good as it was 35 years ago. 👍🏻🍻❤️😎
Man I miss Bob. He was glorious in his day. Master of low key, understated, sarcastic humor long before anyone else attempted something like that. His comedy was new and fresh and original and creative. A master.
My father and I used to refer to him as "Stupid Dave," b/c so much of what he did was so dumb, but it was also the right level of stupid, b/c it was funny as all get out.
they used to have super dave on YTV (im in canadia) and as a kid i didn't get it but as i got older like late teens we used to get high and watch reruns of super dave all night.. that show was brilliant.
Bob Einstein is a legend. It's incredible that he and Albert Brooks are brothers. What a talented family. RIP!
Albert Brooks changed his name because he thought it would be weird to be a comedian named Albert Einstein.... 😃
Their dad was a comic too. I loved seeing Super Dave with Letterman and also Carson.
@@Rob_Kates Best known as Parkyakarkus, he sadly passed away of a heart attack during a Friars Roast of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz.
I had no idea Super Dave was related to Hank Scorpio.
@shitheadthegolem845 The dire repercussions of 'Project Arcturus' are still being felt today.
There's just something about a Dave. Bob Einstein's comedic timing and control of the audience was impeccable. Thanks for the great memories.
His videod podcast with Norm Macdonald is the best i ever watched or listened to. Legends, RIP.
I'M NOT A PART OF THIS
Explain to the folks at home who Norm Macdonald is
I’ve been chomping at the bits to ask “Where do you get your comments from ?
@@kevinrhea7332..............................................
Did you say that? I can't believe you said that.
The seriousness of Super Dave and his staying in character is so funny. I forgot all about this.
Dude had the best dead pan expression in the business!
Loved it when he showed up on Late Night! And glorious on Curb. RIP.
"your c*** is in the sink"!
Great deadpan delivery. Back in the 60s, he wrote for the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour with Steve Martin, Rob Reiner and other funny folks.
His peerless ability to retain a straight face never failed to amaze me.

King of the Road but forever a jester before the bridge. RIP Bob
Letterman clearly loves Super Dave.
More super dave please, his bits are great.
Deadpan World Champion!
I remember watching,Super Dave as a teenager 😂

How did you watch him when he was a teenager? Did you work at the school he attended?
He was also great on Arrested Development.
I watched him every chance I got to when I was a kid - - was always funny...
Yes! And then followed his career from there.
He was an original! I love the fact that he was at the Caesars Palace jump when Robbie Knievel made that jump and greeted him on the landing ramp along with Evel.
LOVE SUPER DAVE
I love it when Letterman gets such a kick out of his guests. He gets so giddy. 🤣

(Super)Dave's expressionless humor when Paul says "This is great! Just my size!".
I miss Bob...and I miss Norm...and I miss Bob with Norm...
Those were the days!!😂😂
my friend I thought they'd neeeeever end
The true golden era of Late Night.
Bob Einstein did a fantastic job of stone facing in character through all of this. That alone is a talent in itself.
RIP Bob Einstein.
Thank you so much for posting this. His Letterman appearances were great.
Ha! Dave almost got Bob to break a few times.
And Bob genuinely made Dave laugh (even though he was trying to hold it back) several times.
I don't think the 1980s Buick Regals even come in "stick".
Keep the Super Dave clips coming please, Barbara!
" I'm having a drink with my son in law" Super Dave
Nothing short of Brilliant ! Period.
One of the great guests for Dave. He would have something in the beginning belittling Paul at the start and it always cracked me up.
From Officer Judy to Super Dave, Bob Osborne was a comic genius. It's so satisfying watching Dave try to make him break. He is missed.
Bob Einstein. Marty Funkhouser and Larry Middleman to his TV friends.
Officer Judy hit the road.
My father and I used to refer to him as "Stupid Dave," b/c so much of what he did was so dumb, but it was also the right level of stupid, b/c it was funny as all get out.
Some refer to it as satire.
He was the greatest daredevil of anytime, Dave
I love and miss him man - all of his incarnations. So much funnier than Albert Einstein.
Albert is a genius in his own write or right. Or left. He made some of the funniest films of the last 50 years.
LOVE THAT SONG PUSH BROOM 😊
He was such a cunning stunt man.
Love this man! ❤❤❤
I bet Super Dave didn't play chess. Now THAT 's dangerous!
RIP 2 The Goat.
Oh funkhauser, how we miss you!
Closest I’ve seen him to breaking
I love how every time Bob comes on, Dave tries so hard to make him break. All he gets is the slightest smirk.

He was so straight, he owned a whole kennel.
Legend!
Super Dave: "I know what I'm doing." 1:15
Dave: "HA!"
Super Dave: (death stare) CLASSIC!! 👍🥰😎
Giddy with laughter
This guy was hilarious!
BOB DYLAN why greatest hits VOLUME II when there was no VOLUME I 😮

Way to go Dave. 👏
He had the best deadpan looks.
Marty Funkhauser.
Crazy to think that his brother is Albert Einstein
he was the greatest....Super Dave
I love you Super!
Barry Sisters marvelous job with 😊 SONG😊
Is this the origin of the son in law gag?
Heard this joke a million times over the years.
The build up and pay off for Super Dave stunts is better than any Quinton Tarantino movie.
