- Alanis Morissette stond gisteravond nog in een uitverkocht Carré om de 25e verjaardag van haar wereldwijde doorbraakalbum ‘Jagged Little Pill’ te vieren. Met hits als ‘Ironic’ en ‘Oughta Know’ werd dat album wereldwijd 33 miljoen keer verkocht. Het is dan ook geen verrassing dat de kaarten voor haar voorstelling gisteravond in Carré binnen 25 minuten allemaal uitverkocht waren. Vanavond is ze bij ons in de uitzending en speelt ze haar nieuwe single ‘Smiling’.

Her vocals on this version are KILLER. Even though the song is condensed it is PERFECTION. I have listened to it over and over.
This was written for the Jagged Little Pill Broadway musical and I’m extremely happy she recorded it herself for the coming album
Flavors is her most personal, self-evolved melodic album to date and my favourite, her new album sounds like it might be very personal also. Reasons I Drink and Smiling are both solid.
I have seen her live at an acoustic show and can attest that her voice is truly magical. Unreal. If you think it's good on record, electric or acoustic, in person its just mindblowingly even better.

This is what ive been waiting for from Alanis for years! It feels like classic Alanis with emotion but that optimism too! Ive loved every album but this is by far the best since *So Called Chaos* . These songs would fit in on *Under Rug Swept* and *Jagged Little Pill* easily! 👌🏼❤
