Chocolate Milk, Por Favor Book Reading

Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month by listening to Oak Forest Elementary principal, Heather Watson East, reading the book, Chocolate Milk, Por Favor, by Maria Dismondy. It is a heartwarming story about a little boy named Gabe who comes from a Spanish-speaking country and starts school in America. Gabe doesn’t speak any English, which makes starting school very scary. To top it off, a boy at school named Johnny isn’t very kind to him at first. This book shows how kindness and compassion can help make everyone feel welcome at school.
