It is a heartwarming story about a little boy named Gabe who comes from a Spanish-speaking country and starts school in America. Gabe doesn’t speak any English, which makes starting school very scary. To top it off, a boy at school named Johnny isn’t very kind to him at first. This book shows how kindness and compassion can help make everyone feel welcome at school.
