As a native English speaker, I have to say this so the best physiological explanation of how to speak the English language that I have EVER seen. You are an amazing teacher - may you be thoroughly blessed!
I'm always curious about how you guys receive such an advanced training in terms of teaching English. You seem to know precisely the things we struggle with in English and always provide the necessary solutions.
We teach for 6 hours a day! Teaching multiple students with various needs and learning styles. So we often note common mistakes and make videos based on them!
Hello! I am from the Netherlands and just wanted to tell you how amazing it is that you make these kinds of videos. I have my English oral exam tomorrow, and I was super nervous because pronouncing TH was really hard, but this video really helped me!! Thank you so much !!!!
The teacher is young but very experienced. She collect the topic as if she taught for many years. I like her. I hope she will cover other topics for non-native speakers like adverbs of place.❤
I have seen many tutorial videos on TH sound. Except for yours, they all seemed to have been made for those that already know how to pronounce it. Thank you.
Great! The thing that really helped me was pronouncing PATHS. When you natives are speaking naturally it seems that you don't say the TH sound, but just the S sound. But, now, it is clear! Cheers!
I'm from the UK and for some words I make the "Th" sound but for others, I substitute a "F" for the th sound. I just realised recently I've been pronouncing certain words wrong my entire life haha. These videos are helping me so much. I was saying "ba-f" instead of "bath". Thanks for taking the time to explain this! It's important for my job that I speak clearly.
So it's not just me, haha. English is my first language but I've been speaking it wrong my whole life as well! 😅 I often make the "f" sound in words when I should be the making "th" sound ("three" not "free," etc.). It's surprisingly difficult to unlearn!
Thank you! My grandson is just turning nine. The way he talks has been so cute that we never helped him correct it. My grandson and I looked for help last week and found another video. We watched the video. Then we found this one. He's been working on them ever since. This video has done wonders! I can't thank you enough! 😊
i am Bangladeshi,,, i love British accent a lot but i have trouble with TH but now It's clear,,,you are such an amazing instructor that i have ever meet.❤❤
Wow great! Finally I'm pronouncing it correctly! I love your pronunciation videos. It's really good. You explain everything very well! My accent is improving and so is my English!
Excellent, thank you ! Am I the only one asking the question: in what case do we use the unvoiced "th" and in what case the voiced "th" ? Is there a grammar rule ?
Intact teeth are a prerequisite for saying this sound. In English the sounds take place of T and D, which are related. In Spanish Spanish, they don't make sense, because they take place of unrelated letters C and S. They have Andaluthia and Barthelona.
What an amazing lesson and teacher! I really hard to enunciate properly despite wearing braces. 😬Having even teeth is essential for proper pronunciation!
could you please make videos on phrases and grammar for high school children because your explanation is awesome.I could be able share your channel to whole my friend group if you do grammar.please madam.
Great content. I have been practicing pronouncing th sounds with this video, great job teacher :) I wonder just one thing, in some other videos, teachers say when you produce th sounds, your front teeth shouldn't be touching your tongue, what do they mean by it? When we bite our tongue even 'gently' as you said, our teeth always will be touching it 😅
I have seen so many english-teaching videos on youtube. I don't know, you are simply the best teacher of them all.
Wow, thank you!
@@smashingenglish you are awesome

@@ishmael4489 definitely, it's a lot easier to fix as a kid than an adult. To be fair I think a lot of it comes down to accent.
I think it's a common substitute but it's better if you can do it right ☺️
