If you buy a high quality matcha, the taste by itself has a natural sweetness into it. Lower quality matcha will have bitterness taste in it. I don’t take sugar therefore I didn’t add any sugar in the latte. If you prefer to have a little sweetness in the latte, you may add sugar to your preference. Try it and let me know how you like it. Oh! When you make matcha the temperature of the water should be lower than 175 degrees Fahrenheit or 79 degree Celsius. You want to keep all the good nutrients from the matcha. Long time ago, I used to buy other matcha from Ippodo tea in Manhattan but they don’t have organic matcha. Now I get it from Amazon.
