I've been fishing for over 60 years now- and I love watching these two! Right from when they were just boys- They approach everything as fun, with a serious aim of catching something. It's never contrived, a pre-baited hotspot, or somewhere only open to the select few- such as Wilson, James and Yates etc. They have a tremendous unbounded enthusiasm, a very good all-round knowledge- and they certainly reap the rewards of their efforts. It shows the human side of things, the cock ups, and the fun bits- In short, worth watching every time, regardless of anyone's fishing abilities. My grateful thanks to these two Herberts! :-)
These are definitely my favourite types of videos. Small creeks and streams with some amazing species that you wouldn't normally expect to see in such small water ways 👍
THE RETURN OF THE PIKE DITCH! I absolutely love the original of this and have watched it soooo many times. You guys got me back into fishing, thank you :)
Had the same experience last weekend. Just a tiny little canal by my house full of monster chub. Caught my pb chub twice in a row in about half an hour of after work fishing.
You guys are by far the best fishing youtubers. I love your attitudes, always positive and no egos which is so refreshing. Don’t change a thing you are great lads! If you ever want to give me a fishing masterclass feel free, my net has stayed very dry this year 😂 take it easy boys!
Another great little video guys. Taking my eight year old float fishing on our local canal tomorrow. We love watching your channel guys keep it up, you’re an inspiration.
@@carpadventures8052 you literally said “looking forward to this before it even started”. You always look forward to something that hasn’t happened so it isn’t anything funny what you said...
I have a stream just like that 5 min from my house. It is rammed with Chub, Roach, Dace and Perch. Nothing massive but great fun, catch a cast stuff, which is great as it keeps my son interested. I'd rather catch 24 smaller fish in 1 hour than 1 bigger fish in 24 hrs. Love this type of fishing!👍
I love fishing little inner city ponds I fished as a kid and with each fish I catch, my mind is flooded with sits and voices of the days when I was younger
I know nothing about fishing... not really much about fish too... but I love watching your videos! Your voice is so calming and soothing. The video editing is great too! It feels like I’m watching part of a docuseries 😁😂
I spent ages fishing a 'ditch' when I was a lad of about 13. it held some really good chub, perch, and big shoals of rudd in the deep holes... once caught 38 rudd in an afternoon with a mate. I've always loved the overgrown and overlooked small streams
i get really excited while watching these "urban" videos, I get more excited while watching these than watching carp fishing videos. I just feel something different about this type of videos. I would appreciate if you would film these more, for an example, go around your local spots and make a video on each one. It is not about the fish you catch, it is about the edit, the quaility of the video that you have, interaction with the public, I really adore that. These small chubs are sometimes more exciting then a 15 kilo carp.. Greetings from Bosnia and Herzegovina
Our Lake has a waterfall, and washes a lot of fish into a little Brook. Fishing that pulls up many suprises. I took my nephew, he caught a pound and a quarter roach on his first time fishing. That was brilliant to watch lads👍
Here where I am in Illinois there are creeks used by farmers for their irrigation systems and I just this year started fishing them and have caught several carp species in the 10lb range as well as a bunch of other cool fish is probably my new favorite type of fishing
Your videos have truly re-inspired my love and passion for fishing. Near on over 20 years ago until this year's lockdowns I last cast a rod!. I love streams and all things roving. Keep up the good work, have a great Christmas.
Loved this series. Pulling good fish out of overlooked waters is great fun. Love all the different species you have. We have culverts round here -- bait funnels really -- that are alive with striped bass in the spring.
Another great video. Somerset is full of drainage channels some big and some you can jump across. They are all stuffed with fish. These places are not stocked but there are rudd, roach , tench, perch, carp and pike aplenty. I wish I had time to explore them all. I hear great stories from others.
im not sure how you are so lucky! im very new to fishing and i will sit out on the canal lock for 5 to 6 hours and catch 1 fish if im lucky. Great video as always. PS if you have any tips for beginners that would be amazing as I am very new to float fishing
This is the type of fishing that got me into pike fishing, managed to get my best fish of 15lbs last week thanks to the tips from Carl and Alex, thank you 😃😃
Your second spot near the lake. I think I recognise it. I fished there on a reciprocal ticket (OAPSoc membership?), catching small bream. Are those drain ditches open to the 'public'? There are plenty of Kingfishers around here. Thank you. Regards - John, Sussex.
What a magical place to fish and what an amazing Perch! Outstanding editing and videos lads once again. I am not worthy. Can you put me in the Korda draw please.😉
Hi Guys, great vid this and the no: 2 vid at the memory spot. It is amazing the places you fish and get such amazing results. It's certainly inspiring me to branch out a bit more and find some weird looking places to try. Well done guys, the quality of the vids is great, bring um on 👍👍

Ahh thanks Alex! Great name by the way ;) haha

I found a little spot literally 1 minutes drive from my house and managed some Chub and a Trout yesterday. Love these types of video 👍

10:23 That fish is really big! Usually, this fish is not groving so much! The biggest i ever catched was 1,4kg!

Yo I like these shorter videos that are just fishing, not a whole storyline.
Story line? Like in a book or play?
