A few miles further up the coast is Blackpool. It's like comparing chalk with cheese. Blackpool (apart from the promenade) really is looking run down compared to Lytham and St Annes.

St.Annes town centre is likewise full of shops that have been derelict for years. It's similar to anywhere else. Let's not pretend please.

people often forget lytham -- prefer to stay lytham and visit blackpool for day -- lytham bit more sanity evenings ---
